Boruto and Sarada went upstairs to freshen up and change into something more comfortable. Sarada slipped into her usual cozy outfit: an oversized t-shirt and shorts. Boruto put on a simple t-shirt and pants, both of them ready to unwind after the long day.

When they came back downstairs, it was still early evening, too soon for dinner. So, the three of them—Boruto, Sarada, and Himawari—decided to watch a movie together. Himawari had already gathered an assortment of snacks and drinks, placing them on the table near the couch.

As they settled in, Sarada noticed that while there were drinks for everyone, Himawari had thoughtfully brought her a soft drink since she knew Sarada never drank alcohol. She smiled at her sister-in-law's thoughtfulness.

Boruto, of course, had taken the middle spot on the couch, but Himawari wasn’t having that. "I want to sit with Sarada-nee!" Himawari whined playfully, tugging on Sarada’s arm.

Boruto narrowed his eyes. "But I’m her husband. I should sit next to her!"

What followed was a brief but amusing back-and-forth between the siblings, which Sarada watched with amusement. After a few minutes of playful bickering, they reached a compromise: Sarada would sit in the middle.

She laughed softly as she took her spot between them, now sandwiched between the two tall Uzumaki siblings. Despite Sarada being the eldest between her and Himawari, both Boruto and Himawari were taller than her, making her feel even smaller as they both clung to her.

The three of them had decided to watch a horror movie, and almost immediately, Boruto and Himawari leaned in closer to Sarada. It wasn’t long before she felt practically engulfed by them, their tall figures pressing against her from both sides. Every jump scare had Himawari squeezing her arm, and even Boruto, though trying to play it cool, occasionally tightened his grip on her shoulder.

Sarada couldn’t help but chuckle to herself, feeling warm and secure despite the eerie movie playing. The coziness of the moment and their clinginess melted away the slight tension the horror scenes brought, making her feel incredibly close to her husband and sister-in-law.

Though Naruto and Hinata were away that night, having gone to the Hyuga Mansion to check on Hiashi, who had fallen ill, the house still felt lively and full. The bond between the three of them—Boruto, Sarada, and Himawari—was stronger than ever, making the quiet Uzumaki household feel full of love and laughter even without the rest of the family.

Sarada smiled to herself as the movie continued, appreciating how much these small, simple moments meant to her.
