As the breakfast was ready, Sarada and Hinata dished out plates filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy toast, and slices of fresh fruit. The table was soon adorned with their delicious spread, and the enticing aroma filled the dining room, making everyone’s stomach growl in anticipation.
“Alright, time to dig in!” Naruto exclaimed, taking a seat and eagerly reaching for a piece of toast. Boruto, however, had other plans.
In a swift motion, he leaned in toward Sarada, planting a quick, playful kiss on her cheek before anyone could notice. The sudden affection caught Sarada off guard, and she felt her cheeks heat up instantly.
“Boruto!” she whispered, trying to keep her voice down while also stifling her embarrassment.
Himawari, who had caught the whole moment out of the corner of her eye, couldn’t help but smirk. “Nice one, Boruto! Sneaky moves,” she teased under her breath, her eyes twinkling with amusement.
“What’s going on over there?” Naruto asked, looking up with curiosity, but Boruto quickly flashed him an innocent grin.
“Just enjoying breakfast!” Boruto replied, stuffing his mouth with food to hide his embarrassment.
“Right,” Naruto said, raising an eyebrow but returning to his plate. “As long as you’re not sneaking any more kisses.”
Sarada shot Boruto a playful glare, but her heart raced from the thrill of the unexpected kiss. She tried to focus on her breakfast, but the warmth of Boruto’s lips lingered on her cheek, making her blush even more.
As they all dug into the meal, the table was filled with laughter and chatter, each bite accompanied by playful banter. Hinata and Naruto exchanged sweet glances, sharing inside jokes, while Boruto was keen to keep the mood light.
“Hey, Sarada, you should definitely make this for dinner more often. You’re the best cook!” he complimented, nudging her with his elbow.
“Maybe I will, if you promise to do the dishes next time!” Sarada shot back, smirking as she took a sip of her juice.
“Deal!” Boruto laughed, pretending to cross his heart dramatically.
Himawari chimed in, still reveling in the earlier kiss. “Wow, Boruto, you really know how to charm your wife! What’s your secret?” she teased, her voice dripping with mock seriousness.
Boruto shrugged nonchalantly, but his eyes sparkled with mischief. “It’s all about the element of surprise, Hima. You should try it with Inojin sometime.”
Himawari’s face flushed again, and she quickly grabbed a piece of fruit to hide her embarrassment. “Shut up!” she muttered, but a small smile betrayed her annoyance.
As the breakfast continued, the room buzzed with energy and laughter. Sarada stole glances at Boruto, feeling grateful for moments like these filled with love and happiness. She knew that despite the teasing, the connection they shared was deeper than any playful banter could convey.
“Okay, what’s the plan for today?” Naruto asked, leaning back in his chair and looking at everyone with a grin.
“Maybe we can go for a picnic in the park!” Hinata suggested, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“That sounds great! I’ll pack some snacks,” Boruto said, glancing at Sarada. “Maybe Sarada can whip up those amazing sandwiches of hers.”
“Only if you help!” Sarada replied, unable to hide her smile.
The family continued to chatter, the sun shining through the windows, casting a warm glow over their morning. It was moments like these that reminded Sarada of how lucky she was to be surrounded by such love, laughter, and the occasional teasing from her husband and sister-in-law.
