Boruto: "Hah!" He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "I’m so tired. I really need a nap right now."
He was about to lay down on the couch when Sarada stopped him, gently pushing him upright.
Sarada: "First, go and freshen up. Till then, I’ll bring some snacks for you."
Boruto (pouting slightly but relenting): "Fine… but be quick."
Before heading off to their bedroom, he leaned in, planting a quick kiss on her lips with a tired smile. Sarada shook her head with a soft laugh, watching as he walked away to change into something more comfortable.
She headed into the kitchen, already planning to grab some of his favorite snacks since dinner was still a bit far off.
---
In the kitchen
Sarada opened the pantry, scanning the shelves for the snacks Boruto loved most. She was still searching when Hinata walked in, wiping her hands on a towel.
Hinata: "Searching for Boruto’s favorites?"
Sarada turned to look at her, slightly startled but smiling.
Sarada: "You know everything, Mom."
Hinata (pointing to a cabinet on the left): "They’re in that one."
Sarada opened the cabinet, finding exactly what she was looking for. As she pulled out the snacks, Hinata placed a steaming cup of tea on the counter beside her.
Sarada (blinking in surprise): "Mom, I was just thinking about making some tea for him. Can you read minds or something?"
Hinata chuckled, her voice light and teasing.
Hinata: "A mother knows everything."
Sarada laughed along, shaking her head in disbelief.
Sarada: "You’re amazing, Mom."
Hinata (smiling warmly): "Now, go fast before Boruto starts whining about me stealing his wife again."
The playful jab made Sarada laugh even more as she collected everything and headed toward their room.

In their room
Sarada entered quietly, balancing the tray in her hands. Her eyes immediately went to Boruto, who had just stepped out of the shower. He was towel-drying his hair, dressed in a half-sleeveless t-shirt and loose lowers, looking relaxed yet utterly exhausted.
Sarada: "Here are your snacks and tea," she said, placing the tray on the bedside table before sitting on the bed.
Boruto sat beside her, reaching for the tea she handed him.
Boruto: "Oh, man! I’m so tired." He took a sip of the tea, followed by a bite of his favorite snacks, savoring them as if they were a blessing.
Once he’d had his fill, he groaned dramatically and flopped back onto the bed, resting his head on Sarada’s lap. His eyes fluttered shut as he sighed in relief.
Sarada (chuckling softly as she ran her fingers through his hair): "You’re really this tired, huh?"
Boruto opened his eyes to look up at her, his blue gaze meeting her warm one.
Boruto: "More than words can say…" His voice trailed off, and he closed his eyes again, clearly relishing her touch.
Sarada smiled to herself, her fingers moving gently through his hair. She reached for the leftover snacks and started feeding him bite by bite.
Sarada: "You’re hungry, aren’t you? But too tired to make the effort to eat," she teased, popping a piece into his mouth.
Boruto hummed in response, chewing slowly as his body visibly relaxed.
Boruto: "You really do know me too well, Sara…" His voice was soft, filled with affection.
As she continued feeding him, Sarada’s hand stayed in his hair, caressing him gently. The room was quiet except for the faint sounds of their breathing and the occasional soft chuckle from Sarada when Boruto mumbled something incoherent, his exhaustion catching up with him.
He finally drifted into a light nap on her lap, his hand loosely holding hers, as Sarada watched him with nothing but love in her eyes.
