After a few minutes of chatting and giving Sarada gentle reminders to take it easy, Naruto and Himawari stood up to leave.

Naruto patted Boruto on the shoulder. "Take good care of her, son," he said with a proud smile. Then he looked down at Sarada, his expression softening. "And you, rest well. We’ll handle everything else for now."

Himawari gave Sarada one last comforting squeeze on her hand. "We’ll bring you lunch later, okay? And if you need anything at all, just call me."

Sarada gave them both a warm, grateful smile. "Thank you… Dad, Hima. I’ll try to rest."

As they exited, Naruto gave Boruto a knowing nod, one that said he was trusting his son to look after her. And then, finally, they were alone.

The room fell into a comfortable quiet, and Boruto turned his full attention to Sarada. He adjusted the blankets around her and brushed a few stray strands of hair from her face, his gaze tender as he watched her settle back.

"Finally, some peace and quiet," he teased, giving her a warm smile. "Now, no sneaking off or trying to help anyone, understand?"

Sarada sighed, rolling her eyes slightly, though there was a hint of a smile on her lips. "Fine, fine… I guess I don’t have much choice with you here, do I?"

"Nope." He smirked, leaning in closer. "You’re stuck with me, princess."

She chuckled softly, reaching up to rest her hand on his cheek, feeling the warmth of his skin under her fingertips. "Thank you, Boruto… for everything."

He held her hand against his cheek, his eyes softening. "There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you, love."

As they sat there in peaceful silence, Boruto gently leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead, silently promising to be by her side no matter what. For now, all they needed to focus on was each other, and he was determined to make sure she felt safe, loved, and truly cared for.
