The morning sunlight streamed through the windows of the Uzumaki household, casting a warm glow over the scene in the living room. Naruto and Hinata returned home from their visit to the Hyuga mansion, only to stop in their tracks at the sight before them.
On the couch, three figures were intertwined in a heap of blankets and limbs. Himawari lay with her head resting comfortably on Sarada's lap, while Boruto was sprawled out beside them, hugging Sarada tightly, practically squeezing her small frame. The sight was both adorable and comical, and Naruto couldn't help but chuckle.
"Look at them!" he whispered to Hinata, a grin spreading across his face. "They look like a bunch of sleepy koalas."
Hinata stifled a laugh, leaning closer to get a better look at her children. “They’re going to be in trouble if they keep that up. Poor Sarada looks like she can’t breathe!”
Naruto chuckled again, shaking his head. "Alright, time to wake them up before someone gets seriously choked."
"Boruto! Hima! Wake up, or you guys will choke Sarada!" Naruto called, his voice bright and cheerful.
Himawari slowly stirred awake, blinking in confusion as she rubbed her eyes. However, Boruto and Sarada remained blissfully asleep, oblivious to the world around them.
"Hinata, help me out here!" Naruto said, chuckling as he watched his son cling to Sarada like a leech.
“Boruto! Wake up!” Hinata added, a bit more insistently this time.
Suddenly, with a swift kick, Himawari sent her elder brother tumbling to the floor. “Wake up! You idiot! You’re choking your wife!” she exclaimed, a mischievous smile on her face as Boruto hit the ground with a thud.
Boruto groaned in pain, rubbing his back as he blinked up at the ceiling in a daze. “Wh-what!? Who’s choking my wife?!” he exclaimed, half-asleep and still processing what was happening.
“It’s you, idiot!!” Himawari shot back, stifling a laugh as she sat up, her hair tousled and her face still sleepy.
Sarada finally stirred, her voice groggy from sleep. “Wh-what happened?” she mumbled, rubbing her eyes and trying to gather her thoughts.
She turned her head to find Boruto sprawled on the floor, a confused expression plastered across his face. “Boruto? Why are you sleeping on the floor?” she asked, still trying to wake up.
Boruto looked up, blinking in confusion, “I—uh… I think I got kicked?”
Himawari couldn’t contain her laughter. “Yeah, you got kicked by your beloved sister!”
Sarada chuckled, glancing down at her husband. “Well, that’s one way to wake you up, I guess!”
“Why did you kick me, Hima?” Boruto whined, sitting up and shooting her a mock glare. “I was just trying to be cozy with my wife!”
“Cozy? You were practically suffocating her!” Himawari retorted, sticking her tongue out playfully.
Sarada rolled her eyes, her laughter ringing through the room. “I’m fine, really! Just a little squished, that’s all!”
Boruto got to his feet, brushing off the dust from his shirt and giving Sarada a dramatic look. “You’re lucky I still love you after that kick,” he teased, walking over and wrapping his arms around her waist.
“Yeah, yeah, just don’t make it a habit, or I might have to sleep with Hima next time,” Sarada shot back, a playful glint in her eyes.
The room erupted with laughter, and Naruto smiled at the light-hearted chaos. “Looks like we’ve got a lively household after all!” he declared, ruffling his son’s hair.
“Can we have breakfast now? I’m starving!” Himawari chimed in, her stomach grumbling audibly.
“Breakfast it is!” Hinata said, taking charge as they all moved towards the kitchen, the echoes of their laughter filling the house as they enjoyed the warmth of being together.
