That evening at the dinner table, Naruto, Hinata, and Himawari were already seated, waiting for Boruto and Sarada. As soon as Sarada entered the room, she could feel their eyes on her, brimming with worry and curiosity.

Hinata was the first to speak, her tone gentle but firm.
Hinata: "Sarada, how was your first day back? Did you take it easy?"

Sarada chuckled nervously, taking her seat beside Boruto.
Sarada: "Yes Mom, I was careful. I didn’t overdo it, I promise."

Naruto leaned forward, his expression skeptical.
Naruto: "You sure about that? I mean, Hokage duties can pile up fast. You didn’t try to clear a week’s worth of work in one day, did you?"

Sarada shook her head, smiling reassuringly.
Sarada: "No, Dad, I didn’t. Shikadai only gave me what was absolutely necessary. Everything else can wait."

Himawari, who had been listening intently, crossed her arms.
Himawari: "But did you actually take breaks, or did you just sit at your desk the whole time?"

Boruto smirked, cutting in before Sarada could answer.
Boruto: "Don’t worry, Hima. I had Shikadai keep an eye on her, and I made sure to drop by the office myself. She was on her best behavior."

Sarada gave Boruto a mock glare.
Sarada: "You make it sound like I’m a kid who needs supervision."

Naruto grinned, leaning back in his chair.
Naruto: "You may be Hokage, but to us, you’re family first. We’re allowed to worry, especially after what happened."

Hinata nodded in agreement, serving more rice.
Hinata: "Exactly. We just want to make sure you’re taking care of yourself. You’re not just a Hokage, Sarada, you’re also our daughter."

Sarada’s heart warmed at their concern, and she felt a small twinge of guilt for worrying them earlier in the week.
Sarada: "I know, Mom, Dad. And I promise I’ll be careful. I’ve learned my lesson. I don't wanna lie on that stupid bed again all day, doing absolutely nothing"

Himawari’s eyes sparkled mischievously as she leaned closer.
Himawari: "Good, because if you faint again, I might have to start carrying you around like Boruto does."

The table erupted into laughter, and Sarada joined in, feeling lighter than she had in days.

As the meal continued, the conversation shifted to lighter topics, and the warmth of family surrounded them. Sarada silently promised herself to cherish moments like these, knowing how lucky she was to have them all by her side.
