A few hours later, around 11:40 am, Sarada began to stir, the soft light from the window gently peeking through the curtains and warming the room. She slowly lifted her head from Boruto’s chest, blinking her eyes as she adjusted to the daylight. As her gaze moved upward, she found herself gazing at Boruto’s face.

Her breath caught for a moment. The way his hair fell loosely over his forehead, the quiet serenity of his sleeping face—it was like he was glowing. He looked ethereal, his features soft in sleep, a peaceful expression that made him look even more handsome than she had ever noticed before.

Sarada’s heart skipped a beat, and for a moment, she lost herself in the sight of him. Her thoughts faded away as her eyes traced the outline of his face, the gentle rise and fall of his chest with each breath, and the way the sunlight caught in his hair. She couldn't stop staring at him, her mind consumed with the beauty of the moment.

She was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't even realize when Boruto had woken up.

A small smirk spread across his face as he felt her gaze on him, sensing the shift in the air. He kept his eyes closed, pretending to still be asleep, enjoying the moment of watching Sarada become completely entranced by him. This was the perfect chance to tease her.

He waited a beat, just long enough for her to stay lost in her own world. Then, slowly, he opened his eyes, his gaze locking with hers.

"Staring at me, huh? You know, it's not polite to stare, my lady," he teased, his smirk growing wider as Sarada's face instantly flushed a deep shade of red.

Sarada froze, her eyes wide in surprise, realizing she’d been caught completely off guard. She quickly looked away, embarrassed by how obvious it had been.

"I-I wasn’t staring!" she stammered, trying to sound nonchalant, but failing miserably. "I—uh—was just... looking at you. That’s all."

Boruto laughed softly, pulling her closer to him and wrapping his arms around her with a playful grin.

"Sure, sure, just looking at me," he teased, his voice low and warm. "You know, I don’t mind the attention, princess. But you should know, I’m not as easy to resist as I look."

Sarada’s face turned even redder, but she couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. She shifted in his arms, trying to regain some composure, but her heart was racing from the way he always had this effect on her.

"You're impossible," she muttered, though the words were soft and affectionate.

Boruto chuckled again, tightening his hold around her. "Yeah, but you love it," he whispered, his voice full of warmth. And with that, Sarada couldn’t deny it, her heart melting even more for him.
