The next morning, sunlight streamed gently through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the Uzumaki household. Sarada slowly stirred awake, her body feeling heavy and her legs especially sore. She let out a soft groan, remembering the events of the night before. Boruto had certainly made good on his promise to have "fun" with her, and now she was paying the price.
As she shifted in bed, Sarada tried to sit up, but her legs ached in protest. "Ugh… Boruto," she mumbled, half-glaring at her still-sleeping husband beside her. He looked so peaceful and innocent—completely unaware of the soreness he’d caused her.
Just then, Boruto lazily opened one eye, a sly grin immediately forming on his lips. “Good morning, princess,” he teased, clearly aware of her discomfort. "Sore, huh?"
Sarada huffed, lightly smacking his chest. "You know exactly why, idiot," she grumbled, though a small smile tugged at her lips despite herself.
Boruto chuckled, pulling her closer. "You didn’t seem to mind last night," he teased, kissing her forehead. “But hey, maybe I went a little too hard, huh?”
Sarada’s face flushed a deep red. "B-Boruto, stop!" she whispered, burying her face in his chest. "What if someone hears you?"
Boruto laughed softly, loving how easily he could fluster her, even after all these years. "Relax, love. It's just us here. Everyone else is downstairs."
Sarada sighed, knowing there was no winning against Boruto’s relentless teasing. "You’re impossible," she muttered, but her smile betrayed her words.
Boruto pulled her even closer, his tone softening. "You’re just too cute when you get embarrassed," he whispered, kissing her cheek. "And besides, I like taking care of my lady."
Sarada blushed even deeper but leaned into him, enjoying the quiet moment of affection before they would have to face the rest of the day. However, she knew she'd have to deal with the teasing from Himawari and maybe even Naruto, but right now, in Boruto's arms, she didn't mind the soreness at all.
With a sigh, she finally pushed herself to sit up, despite the lingering ache in her legs. "I should go help Mom with breakfast," she said, but Boruto quickly grabbed her wrist, pulling her back into bed.
“Oh no, you’re not going anywhere, princess,” he said with a smirk. “After last night, you’re taking it easy today.”
Sarada glared playfully at him, but the soreness made it hard to argue. “Fine, but you owe me a massage later.”
Boruto’s grin widened. “Deal. Anything for you, my lady.”
