After dinner, Sarada began washing the dishes, while Himawari helped clean the kitchen. The two of them chatted and laughed, enjoying each other’s company. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Boruto jumped in, his playful grin lighting up his face.

In one swift motion, he removed Sarada’s claw clip, letting her long, black, silky hair cascade down past her waist.

"Boruto! What the heck?" Sarada exclaimed, annoyance creeping into her voice as she turned to face him. Her hair flowed freely, the soft strands brushing against her cheeks.

Boruto laughed, admiring her hair as it shimmered in the kitchen light. "You know I can’t resist! Your hair looks amazing like this, but you always tie it up. Why don’t you let it down more often?"

Sarada huffed, trying to tuck her hair behind her ear with her soapy hands. "Because I’m washing dishes! And now I can’t tie it back again! You know I can’t do that with soapy hands!"

Boruto, being his usual self, feigned innocence. "Aww, come on! It’s just hair. I’ll help you tie it once you’re done. It’s not like I can wash dishes!"

Sarada shot him a glare, fully aware that Boruto was hopeless when it came to chores. "You know you wouldn’t help anyway. You’d just mess it up!"

Himawari chuckled from the other side of the kitchen, trying to stifle her laughter. "Come on, Sarada-nee, it does look really pretty. Just let him have his fun!"

Sarada rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips. "You’re both impossible!"

Boruto took a step closer, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "What if I promise to be extra nice to you for the rest of the night if you leave your hair down?"

Sarada sighed dramatically. "You’re just trying to distract me from cleaning!"

"Maybe," he admitted, flashing that charming grin of his. "But you can’t blame me for wanting to see you looking beautiful."

Sarada shook her head, both amused and exasperated. "You’re lucky I love you."

"Well, that’s the plan," Boruto winked, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the cheek before retreating, still chuckling. "But you know what would look even better? If you let me help you with your hair."

Sarada groaned, finishing up the last dish. "Fine, just don’t get in the way when I’m done!"

As she turned off the water and dried her hands, she found herself smiling despite the annoyance. Maybe Boruto’s antics weren’t so bad after all. She finished drying her hands and finally gave in, letting her hair fall free as she turned to face him again. "Alright, let’s see what you can do."

Himawari watched, her eyes gleaming with excitement as Boruto stepped forward, determined to prove he could tie Sarada’s hair up without making a mess of it.
