The soft moonlight filtered through the curtains as Boruto and Sarada lay side by side in their bed, the peaceful atmosphere of the night wrapping around them. The day had been exhausting but fulfilling, filled with laughter, love, and some much-needed relaxation.

Boruto turned his head to look at Sarada, who was already half-asleep beside him. He couldn’t help but smile at how serene and beautiful she looked, her hair spread out on the pillow like a cascade of black silk. He brushed a few strands from her face gently, leaning closer.

“You know,” he whispered, “I still think you didn’t eat enough at dinner.”

Sarada, with her eyes still closed, let out a sleepy sigh, half-amused. “I’m not the one who eats like a black hole…”

Boruto chuckled quietly. “That’s what you always say, but I just want to make sure you’re eating enough. Gotta keep my Hokage in top shape.”

Sarada opened her eyes slightly, a small smile on her lips. “You’re impossible, you know that?”

“Maybe,” Boruto teased, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer. “But you love it.”

She snuggled into his chest, her tiredness washing over her again as his warmth and the steady beat of his heart soothed her. “Yeah, I do,” she mumbled, her voice soft and affectionate.

For a few moments, there was nothing but the sound of their breathing and the gentle rustle of sheets. Boruto, content with Sarada nestled against him, felt his own eyelids grow heavy.

“Goodnight, my love,” he whispered, placing a tender kiss on the top of her head.

“Goodnight, Boruto,” Sarada murmured in response, her voice barely audible as sleep finally overtook her.

As the night deepened, the Uzumaki household fell into a quiet slumber. Sarada, Boruto, and the rest of the family slept peacefully, recharging for whatever adventures the next day would bring. And for now, in the stillness of the night, everything was just perfect.
