Just as Boruto settled beside her, he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on her lips, catching her completely off guard. She blinked in surprise, but before she could react, he gently nipped her bottom lip, making her gasp and wince slightly.

"Ow!" she muttered, shooting him a playful glare.

Boruto just smirked, clearly pleased with himself. "That's your punishment for not listening to me," he said, his voice low with a hint of mischief.

Sarada huffed, rubbing her lip, though she couldn't help the smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Oh, so we're giving out punishments now?" she shot back, raising a brow. "Maybe I should start punishing you every time you're overprotective."

He chuckled, moving a strand of hair away from her face. "Go ahead and try, my lady. But I think you'll find that I don't mind paying that price if it means keeping you safe."

She rolled her eyes but couldn't hide her blush, feeling her heart race at his words. "You're so stubborn."

Boruto grinned, settling his arms around her. "Guess I learned from the best."

She sighed, nestling closer, letting his warmth envelop her. As they lay there, Sarada felt her worries melt away, knowing she had him by her side, through everything.
