Hunters POV:
Noah practically sleeps on top of me the rest of the night, so when I wake up for work, I can feel the stiffness in my body. Unfortunately I also feel him wake up. "H-Hunter? Where going?" He asks me and I sigh. "I'm just getting ready for work buddy, do you want to stay here for a little longer, or do you want to go sleep with someone else?" I ask, but he hops off the bed, bringing Oli with him, thankfully Chicky Nuggy got away sometime while we slept. Not sure how much more cuddling that cat could handle. "G-get ready too." He says, following me to my bathroom. "Buddy, can you wait outside while I use the bathroom, I promise I'll only be a minute." I say, and he reluctantly steps out, but stays directly in front of the door. Why can I already feel the headache coming for when I have to leave him at school?
"So Atlas is—." Nick says joining Noah and I in the kitchen. "Why is he awake already?" He asks pointing at Noah. "Why N-Nicky wake?" Noah asks sassily back. "He wanted to get up with me." I say, giving Nick a look. He gets it because he turns his attention back to Noah. "Noah, do you want to help me wake Alex, Ben and Reid?" He asks. The three of them are still asleep on the couch, and didn't wake up even while Noah talked my ear off coming down the stairs. "N-no time yet Nicky." Noah says making Nick stutter. "I-well-Atlas! Let's go wake Atlas, he should be awake already." Nick says, taking Noah upstairs, I can hear Noah arguing with him that he wants to stay with me.
Five minutes later Noah rushes back into the kitchen. "Hunter! H-Hunter! Atty sick!" He says and I groan. Atlas was going to take everyone to school this morning so Nick and I could get in a bit earlier. "New plan. You wanna head in early or do the school run?" I ask Nick, and he sighs. He definitely does not want to do the school run. "I'm gonna leave as soon as possible." He says, knowing I already knew his answer to my question. "Bye bye N-Nicky!" Noah says waving at him. "Buddy, he's not leaving yet, he's just going upstairs to change, and then he'll leave for work." I say seeing his puzzled face when Nick goes upstairs and not outside.
"Hunter g-go work too?" He asks me and I nod, finishing my coffee. He frowns but doesn't continue the conversation. "N-Noah go work t-too please." He says suddenly after finishing his cereal. "You have to go to school silly." I say with a smile, but he keeps frowning. "Go w-work today. With Hunter. N-no leave Hunter." He says. "But won't you miss your friends? And you'll be learning so many new things too." I try to convince him, but he's dead set on not leaving me today. I shouldn't give in, but then I notice the bags under his eyes from last nights not so peaceful sleep and cave, how could I leave him after that?. "Just today okay? But next time, even if you're having a bad day, or had a bad dream the night before, I want you to try and be really really brave and go to school, but today it's okay." I say and he nods quickly, rushing back upstairs. "No running!" I call out and hear his steps slow down. "I'm not running?" Alex sleepily says, rubbing his eyes and joining me in the kitchen and I sigh again. I swear he got the most sleep yesterday so how can he still be tired?
Everyone is tired. Which means everyone is a little cranky. "Maybe you should drive a fucking bus because there's no space in here at all!" Spencer grumbles. "N-no say that!" Noah scolds his swearing, the two of them argue back and forth. "Alex stop falling asleep, you're going to drool on me!" Sebastian scolds his twin. "Ouch! Ben you're kicking me again!" Aaron complains. Reid was the only one who was quiet, only because he's a bundle of nerves. He was supposed to do his online classes in Atlas class today but since Atlas is home sick, he's going to have to go to the library.
The car seating lmao cause I can't picture how all of them fit:
Hunter Spencer
Noah Reid Aaron
Sebastian Alex Ben
Spencer beat Sebastian to the front seat so that's why he's suffering in the back lmaoooo
"Behave." I say to all of the boys leaving the car, giving a pointed look to Spencer. He gives me the finger and leaves, so I put the window down for Noah and I to shout that we love them all, and I can see Spencer turn red from here. Mission accomplished. "Okay, you ready to go to work?" I ask, and he nods. "Do g-good work today." He says determined. He told Atlas before we left, that he was going to do the best work for me today since he wasn't going to school.
