Chapter 91

Nicholas POV:(picks up after dinner)

Asshole. He really left me with the dishes, on their night, I think to myself as I dry the last few, handing them to Bellamy. "Are you done pouting yet?" He asks me, and I scoff, throwing the towel at him. "First of all, I'm not pouting. And second of all, fuck off." I say, making him roll his eyes. "Right and I'm going to regret asking, but what the fuck has she done now?" He asks. "I don't know okay! She wanted to talk and I said ok, because we're going to have to talk at some point, but I had to cancel and she told Nonna some shit and now Nonnas pissed at me, but I have no idea why! I even tried to explain to Nonna why I had to cancel because it wasn't just for fun, but she wasn't having it!" I explain frustrated.

"Your first mistake was agreeing to talk. Even after you've broken up, she's still everywhere." He sighs, making me give him a dirty look. I get that no one likes her at the moment, but Bellamy is the only one who's never liked us dating, and he's always been vocal about it. "Look, I don't know what she said, but maybe Nonna misunderstood." I say. "Keep telling yourself that man. Now moving on, what are we doing tonight?" He asks, changing the subject. "We can—"I start but am cut off by Reid crashing into Bellamy.

"Woah, you okay little man?" Bellamy says, catching Reid before he falls. "Who are you running from?" I ask seeing him nervously look behind. "I-I..." he starts but quickly looks back again. "I woke Noah up, I didn't mean too, we watched Annabelle and I was scared to sleep alone so I went to find Hunter but Noah was there alone and he got up and Hunters going to be so upset because I already bothered Mr Adler today and he had to call Hunter when he was really busy today and, and then he gave me detention! And I got everyone into trouble today because I didn't make it to the bathroom fast enough and I haven't done my homework and I'm really really sorry!" He says shaking.

I glance quickly at Bellamy, and he has the same look on his face as me. This kid seriously needs to learn how to relax. "I think we should all take a nice big calming breath." Bellamy says, guiding Reid to the seat beside me. Liam walked into the kitchen, hearing the tail end of Reid's words, and starts responding first. "That does sound like an extremely rough day, and I'm sorry I didn't explain myself better earlier today. When I gave you detention today, it wasn't really real, I just wanted to make sure you could stay with Alex, and the only way to do that, without seeming like I'm playing favorites, was to give you "detention"." He explains to Reid. "See? That's one thing you don't need to worry about. Next thing off the list, is not making it in time, heard your teacher was being a little b word, so if anything, it's her fault." Bellamy says.

"But I—" Reid tries but I cut him off. "But nothing. You have a medical note for a reason. And no one got in any extra trouble today so stop worrying about that. Do your homework right now and you can still sleep with Hunter when you're done." I say, but he frowns. "Noah's sleeping with Hunter." He says, but I don't see the problem, the bed is big enough to fit all three and more. "Noah needs him more, he—he's different now, since you guys told him about mommy and daddy." He whispers. So I'm not the only one who noticed the change, it's subtle but it's there. "And I-I need to grow up, it was just a stupid movie." He says, not very confidently. Bellamy elbows me in the stomach, making me wheeze. "Don't worry about Noah, he's just still trying to understand everything. And you can sleep with me, now let's do your homework." I say glaring at my so called best friend, he didn't have to hit me, I would've offered anyways if he gave me a fucking chance.

Noah's POV: finally

I wake up really fast and feel scared, but I don't leave Hunters bed. He said I can come get him and that he could even hear me from all the way downstairs with the little box on the table. B-but what if he's not there? What if I can't find him? Or anyone!? I don't hear anyone, and when I couldn't hear bad mommy and daddy, that meant they left. Sometimes I liked it when they left, but I don't like being alone here, I like when everyone is with me. But I have Oli for now, right? I look around for him but even he's gone! Did bad daddy come get him? He always said he would. Or maybe he left. The door creeks open and I sit up quickly. Hunter, he came back! Hopefully with Oli too, maybe they went on an adventure together.
