When the news reached Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy, they immediately summoned Lola home for the holiday break. She had dreaded this moment, but nothing could have prepared her for the storm waiting for her at Malfoy Manor.

“How could you be so irresponsible?” Lucius’s voice echoed through the grand hall, his expression icy with barely contained fury. “You have disgraced our family, Lola.”

Narcissa, though softer, looked just as stricken. “Darling, you’re so young. You don’t understand the consequences of this decision.”

Lola clenched her fists. “I understand perfectly, Mother. And I’ve made my choice.”

Lucius sneered. “With Riddle’s child? A scandal of this magnitude—do you realize what you’ve done?”

“I don’t care about scandals! This is my baby. I won’t give them up just to appease your reputation.”

Narcissa’s face paled. “Lola, please… think about your future. There are other options.”

Lola’s stomach churned. “No. This is my future.”

Lucius turned away in disgust, muttering, “You are no daughter of mine if you continue down this path.”

The words stung, but Lola refused to let them break her. She lifted her chin, her voice unwavering. “Then so be it.”

Without another word, she turned and walked away, leaving behind the only home she had ever known. But as she stepped out into the cold night, she knew she wasn’t alone.

Mattheo was waiting for her at the gates, his expression filled with quiet determination. He reached for her hand. “You okay?”

Lola exhaled shakily. “I will be.”

With one last glance at Malfoy Manor, she tightened her grip on Mattheo’s hand and walked forward, choosing her own path—one that led to love, family, and a future entirely her own.
