Summary: Raven is tired of her family arguing and starts calling them all out.
Raven had had enough.
She had been home for less than a day, and all she had heard was arguing. First her uncle Draco and Pansy, then her parents, and now they were all just yelling over each other.
She sat on the couch, arms crossed, foot tapping, listening as they went back and forth, again.
Finally, she snapped.
“ENOUGH!”
Her voice boomed through the Malfoy Manor sitting room, silencing everyone instantly.
Draco froze. Pansy blinked. Lola and Mattheo exchanged glances.
Raven stood up, glaring at all of them.
“I am sick and tired of this!” she shouted. “Every time I come home, it’s like I walked into a battlefield! You all act like children, and I’M the actual child here!”
Lola’s mouth opened, but Raven held up a hand. “No. I’m talking, and you’re going to listen.”
Mattheo raised an eyebrow but stayed silent.
Raven pointed at Draco first. “Uncle Draco, you are the most overprotective person I have EVER met. You want to keep me safe? Great. But maybe trust that I’m not a helpless baby anymore.”
Draco’s jaw clenched, but he said nothing.
Then, she turned to Pansy. “Aunt Pansy, I get it, you think Uncle Draco is overreacting. But pushing his buttons ON PURPOSE is not helping anything.”
Pansy crossed her arms but avoided Raven’s glare.
Next, she faced Mattheo. “Dad, I love you, but sometimes you say the dumbest things. Stop acting like Mom is crazy for worrying about me! I am literally always running into danger, have you met me?”
Mattheo actually snorted, but Lola shot him a look.
Finally, Raven turned to her mother. “And Mom. Yes, you have every right to worry about me. But if I’m old enough to be at Hogwarts, I’m old enough to be included in these conversations instead of being treated like a porcelain doll.”
Lola sighed, rubbing her temples. “…You’re right.”
Draco groaned. “Fine. Maybe I am a little overprotective.”
Mattheo smirked. “A little?”
Draco shot him a glare.
Pansy exhaled, shaking her head. “Okay, fine. No more pushing Draco’s buttons for fun. But only because Raven told me to.”
Raven narrowed her eyes. “That was not an apology.”
Pansy rolled her eyes but gave a mock bow. “I’m sorry, oh wise one.”
Raven sighed, flopping back onto the couch. “Thank Merlin.”
For the first time all day, the house was silent.
Then Mattheo ruffled Raven’s hair. “You are terrifying.”
Raven smirked. “I know.”
