Summary Lola received a latter from Raven's owl but it was Scorpius who sent it.
Lola Malfoy had been enjoying a quiet morning for once. Abigail was playing in the garden, Mattheo was off handling something in Diagon Alley, and for the first time in weeks, the house wasn’t filled with tension or arguments.
Then, the owl arrived.
At first, she assumed it was from Raven. Her daughter had been back at Hogwarts for six months now, and while she wasn’t the best at sending letters, she always managed to write when something important happened.
But as Lola took the parchment from the owl’s leg, she immediately noticed something was off.
The handwriting wasn’t Raven’s.
Her stomach tightened as she unfolded the letter and began to read.
---
Aunt Lola,
I know Raven probably hasn’t told you anything, but you need to come to Hogwarts. Now.
Something is wrong with her. She collapsed in the Great Hall last night. She was in so much pain, and when she woke up, she tried to brush it off. But I saw it. I saw how bad it was.
She’s hiding something. I don’t know what it is, but it’s not over. Whatever happened before—whatever almost killed her—it’s happening again.
Please. She won’t tell me anything. But maybe she’ll talk to you.
-Scorpius

Lola’s hands shook as she finished reading.
Her worst fear had just been confirmed.
She hadn’t wanted to believe it, but deep down, she knew something had felt off when Raven came home for the holidays. She had been too relieved to question it—to think that maybe the pain leaving wasn’t a cure, but just the calm before the storm.
And now her daughter was suffering again.
She didn’t waste another second.
Grabbing her wand, she turned on her heel and disapparated straight to Hogwarts.
She had let Raven fight this alone once.
She wasn’t going to make that mistake again.
