Summary: Raven, Scorpius, Albus, and Rose were are in Study hall and she was fine but then I out of nowhere where Raven couldn't breath.

Study Hall was supposed to be peaceful.

The library was quiet, the only sounds being the scratching of quills and the occasional whispered conversation. Raven, Scorpius, Albus, and Rose had taken their usual spot by the window, books scattered across the table.

For once, everything felt normal.

Until it wasn’t.

One second, Raven was reading over her notes. The next, her lungs seized up.

She gasped, but no air came in.

Her hands shot to her throat as a crushing force wrapped around it—like invisible fingers choking her.

Her vision blurred. Her ears rang. She tried to call for help, but all that came out was a strangled wheeze.

Something was killing her.

“Raven?” Rose’s voice barely reached her. “Raven—hey—what’s wrong?”

Panic flashed across her best friend’s face as Raven clawed at her collar, desperately trying to breathe.

“Is it your shirt?” Rose asked, quickly moving closer. “Maybe it’s too tight—hold on—”

She grabbed the hem of Raven’s uniform and yanked it loose, her fingers fumbling with the buttons to free her throat.

Across the table, Scorpius and Albus immediately turned away, looking anywhere but at them.

“Um,” Albus muttered, his ears burning red. “Should we—uh—leave?”

Scorpius groaned, rubbing his temples. “Mate, not the time.”

Meanwhile, Rose ignored them completely. She finally managed to loosen Raven’s collar and instantly, Raven sucked in a ragged, desperate breath.

Air. Finally.

Raven collapsed back against her chair, her whole body shaking.

“Holy shit,” Rose whispered. “Are you okay?”

Raven coughed, still gulping down air. “I—I think so.”

Rose narrowed her eyes. “That wasn’t just your shirt. What the hell was that?”

Raven swallowed hard. She didn’t know. But one thing was clear.

This wasn’t over.
