Summary: Raven and Rose were in poisons together and had another episode. In the hospital wig Rose called her out on her Bs.
Raven was trying to focus on Professor Slughorn’s lecture. Really, she was. But the words on the blackboard blurred together, and her hands trembled as she attempted to chop her ingredients.
She could feel it coming. The pain.
Not here. Not now.
She clenched her jaw, forcing herself to breathe. She wasn’t going to make a scene in the middle of class.
But the moment she reached for her cauldron, her fingers seized up. A sharp, electric pain ripped through her chest, sending her crumbling forward.
“Raven?” Rose’s voice barely reached her ears before her vision went black.

Hospital Wing.
The sterile scent of potions filled her nose as Raven groggily opened her eyes.
And there, standing with her arms crossed, was Rose Weasley—looking pissed.
“Oh, good. You’re awake.”
Raven groaned, trying to sit up. “Rose, don’t start—”
“No. I am starting.” Rose snapped.
Raven blinked.
“You’ve been acting like you’re fine for six months,” Rose continued, her face red with frustration. “And clearly, you’re not. You just had a full-on episode in the middle of class. You were barely breathing, Raven! And you still—still!—refuse to talk about it!”
Raven swallowed hard. “I—”
“Bullshit.”
Raven flinched. Rose never cursed.
Almost immediately, Rose sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. “Sorry,” she muttered. “I shouldn’t have cursed. But seriously, Raven. You can’t keep doing this.”
Raven looked away. “I don’t know what to say.”
“How about the truth?” Rose pressed. “What’s going on with you?”
Raven hesitated. She wanted to tell her. To tell someone.
But she wasn’t even sure if she had the answers.
Instead of responding, she turned her gaze to the ceiling.
Rose exhaled sharply. “Fine. Be stubborn. But I’m not dropping this.”
Raven didn’t doubt that.
And for once… maybe she didn’t want her to.
