Summary: Lola and Draco found Raven laying on the ground motionless half dead and Mattheo trying to heal her but his wand isnt as strong as Dracos.
Lola and Draco ran through the thick fog of the forest, their wands raised, their hearts pounding. The dark magic surrounding them made it nearly impossible to breathe, but nothing—not the fear, not the shadows creeping toward them—could compare to the dread sinking in their chests when they finally saw her.
Raven.
She lay on the cold ground, motionless, her small frame barely rising with each shallow breath. Blood stained her robes, pooling beneath her.
Mattheo was crouched over her, his face pale with panic as he desperately tried to heal her wounds. His wand shook in his grip.
“It’s not working!” Mattheo’s voice cracked. “She’s losing too much blood—I can’t—”
Lola dropped beside them, her hands trembling as she brushed Raven’s hair back from her damp forehead.
“Raven, baby, can you hear me?” she whispered, her voice breaking.
Raven barely stirred, her lips parting as if she wanted to speak—but no words came out.
Draco stepped forward, his wand already glowing with power.
“Move,” he ordered. His voice was sharp, but his hands were unsteady as he knelt beside her.
Mattheo hesitated for half a second before moving aside.
Draco pressed his wand to Raven’s chest. “Vulnera Sanentur!”
A golden light spread over her body, sealing some of the deeper wounds, but the dark magic surrounding them fought against it.
Lola grabbed Draco’s arm. “It’s not just her injuries,” she whispered. “The magic here is draining her.”
Draco gritted his teeth. “Then we take her out of here. Now.”
Mattheo was already scooping her up into his arms. “We need to get her back to the manor.” His voice was sharp, but his eyes were full of raw terror.
Raven let out a soft, pained whimper as Mattheo held her against his chest.
Lola pressed a kiss to her forehead. “Hold on, baby. We’ve got you.”
But as they turned to leave, the air behind them shifted.
A cold, familiar voice whispered through the trees.
"Leaving so soon?"
Draco and Lola spun around, wands raised.
But the shadows had already begun to take shape.
And the nightmare wasn’t over yet.
