Summary: Everyone was on the train on their way home and Raven was sitting on Mattheos lap while Mattheo, Lola, Draco, and Pansy were talking about how Draco and Lola parents will react about Draco having a kid.

The rhythmic chugging of the Hogwarts Express filled the compartment as everyone settled in for the long journey home. Raven, now six years old, sat comfortably on Mattheo’s lap, playing with the rings on his fingers as the adults engaged in a rather serious conversation.

Lola sat beside them, leaning against Mattheo’s shoulder, while Draco and Pansy sat across from them. The mood was tense—and for good reason.

“I still don’t know how I’m supposed to tell them,” Draco muttered, rubbing his temples.

Pansy sighed, crossing her arms over her growing stomach. “You told them about Raven just fine. It’s not like this is a new situation for them.”

“Yes, but that was different,” Draco insisted. “Lola was already pregnant by the time they found out. And they didn’t exactly take it well, remember?” He shot his sister a pointed look.

Lola rolled her eyes. “Yes, I remember. Mother nearly fainted, and Father looked like he wanted to send me off to another country. But in the end, they got over it.” She smirked. “Mostly.”

Mattheo snorted, kissing Lola’s temple. “They adore Raven now, though.”

Raven, hearing her name, perked up. “Grandfather lets me sit in his office when he works,” she said proudly, swinging her little legs. “And Grandmother makes me tea!”

Draco scoffed. “Yes, well, that’s because you’re Raven. You could do no wrong in their eyes.”

Raven beamed. “I am pretty great.”

Mattheo laughed, ruffling her hair. “You sure are, little monster.”

Pansy, however, still looked uncertain. “Lucius and Narcissa accepting Raven is one thing. But me having a baby?” She let out a long breath. “That’s a whole different level of ‘disappointing Malfoy behavior’ in their eyes.”

Draco sighed, reaching out to take Pansy’s hand. “Well, they’re just going to have to get used to it.” His voice was firm, though his expression still held some doubt. “I don’t care what they think. This is my child, and I’m not letting them make you feel like you don’t belong.”

Lola smirked, nudging her brother. “Look at you. Growing up.”

Draco rolled his eyes, but Pansy smiled softly, giving his hand a squeeze.

Raven, who had been listening intently, suddenly grinned and looked up at Mattheo. “Daddy, do you think Grandfather will be mad?”

Mattheo raised an eyebrow, amused. “At Draco?” He grinned, glancing at his brother-in-law. “Absolutely.”

Draco groaned, leaning his head against the window. “Brilliant.”

Raven giggled, snuggling against Mattheo’s chest. “I think Grandfather will love the baby. Just like he loves me.”

Lola smiled, pressing a kiss to the top of Raven’s head. “You might be right, sweetheart.”

Draco and Pansy exchanged glances, both still a bit nervous about the inevitable confrontation with Lucius and Narcissa.

But one thing was certain—no matter what happened, they would face it together.
