Summary: Raven and her friends had a class with Professor Umbrigde and Raven remembers when she bite Umbridge when she was 4

Raven sat in the classroom, her arms crossed as she stared at the front of the room where Professor Umbridge was droning on about the "proper" ways to use magic. She had always hated this woman. Ever since she was little, she’d known Umbridge was cruel.

But today, as she sat there beside Albus, Rose, and Scorpius, she couldn’t help but smirk as a memory surfaced—one she hadn't thought about in years.

She bit her.

She actually bit Professor Umbridge.

The memory was so vivid now. She was only four at the time, still just a little kid, following her mother, Lola, around the castle. Lola was a student, and since Raven had nowhere else to go, she spent her first few years growing up in Hogwarts.

Umbridge, of course, had a problem with that. She always did.

Raven remembered sitting in the back of the classroom while Lola attended lessons, her tiny feet swinging off the chair as she played with her stuffed dragon. Umbridge had been relentless, constantly giving Lola a hard time about "babysitting" during class.

Then, one day, Umbridge got too close, snatched Raven’s stuffed dragon, and called her a distraction.

Raven, furious, didn’t even think. She just reacted. She bit down on Umbridge’s wrist—hard.

She could still hear the shriek Umbridge let out, the absolute horror on her face.

The thought made her chuckle under her breath, which, unfortunately, drew Albus’s attention.

“What’s so funny?” Albus whispered, nudging her slightly.

Raven smirked, still looking at Umbridge. “You wouldn’t believe me if I told you.”

Scorpius, sitting on her other side, raised an eyebrow. “Try us.”

Rose, ever the academic, sighed. “If this is another story about you causing chaos, I—”

Raven turned to face them, her grin widening. “Did you guys know that I was born here? Like, actually born at Hogwarts?”

Albus blinked. “What?”

Scorpius and Rose both looked equally surprised.

“No way,” Scorpius said, leaning forward. “You were actually born here? As in, inside the castle?”

Raven nodded. “Yep. And I lived here for the first four years of my life. My mom had me when she was still a student, so I grew up running around Hogwarts before I was even old enough to hold a wand.”

Albus shook his head in disbelief. “How did I not know this? I mean, I knew your family was… unconventional, but I didn’t realize you literally lived here as a kid.”

Rose looked thoughtful. “That actually explains a lot. Like why you seem to know all the hidden shortcuts that even the Prefects don’t.”

Scorpius was still processing. “Okay, but what does this have to do with you laughing just now?”

Raven’s smirk returned. “Because when I was four, I bit Umbridge.”

There was silence for a beat.

Then—

“You what?!”

Albus nearly choked on his own breath. Rose covered her mouth in shock. Scorpius was the first to burst out laughing.

“No, you’re lying,” Scorpius said between wheezes. “You did not bite her.”

“Oh, I absolutely did.” Raven grinned proudly. “She took my stuffed dragon away and called me a distraction. So I chomped down on her wrist as hard as I could.”

Albus was struggling to hold back laughter. “Raven. You bit a professor.”

“Not just any professor,” Rose added, eyes wide. “You bit Dolores Umbridge.

“Damn right, I did,” Raven said smugly.

Scorpius wiped a tear from his eye. “That might be the greatest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Albus was still shaking his head in disbelief. “No wonder she looks at you like she wants to hex you into next week.”

“I mean, she did try to get me kicked out back then,” Raven admitted. “But my mom and uncle Draco wouldn’t let it happen.”

At that moment, Umbridge turned towards their table, her beady eyes narrowing. “Is there something amusing, Miss Malfoy?”

Raven’s smirk didn’t waver. “No, Professor. Just reminiscing.”

Umbridge pursed her lips but didn’t push further, instead turning back to the chalkboard.

As soon as she did, Scorpius leaned closer and whispered, “I will never let you live this down.”

“Good,” Raven whispered back. “Because that’s one of my proudest moments.”

Albus and Rose exchanged glances before Rose sighed. “Well… at least now we know where your chaos started.”

Raven just smiled. “Oh, trust me, Rosie. That was only the beginning.”
