Summary: Raven almost killed Draco
Draco barely had time to react.
One second, Raven stood still, her small frame rigid and unnatural. The next—
She moved.
Faster than she should have been able to, her wand raised straight at him.
A blast of dark energy erupted from her fingertips, black lightning crackling through the air.
Draco’s instincts kicked in just in time. He threw up a shield, the force of Raven’s magic slamming against it like a tidal wave, pushing him backward.
“RAVEN, STOP!” Lola’s voice was frantic, broken as she lunged forward, but Voldemort only raised a single, bony hand—and Lola collapsed mid-step, gasping for air.
Draco’s rage ignited.
He shoved back against Raven’s attack, but she only tilted her head, her golden eyes empty and void.
Then, in a voice too cold, too hollow, she whispered:
“You tried to hurt him.”
Draco’s chest ached.
“Raven, it’s me!” he yelled, his voice cracking. “It’s Uncle Draco! You don’t want to do this—”
Her fingers twitched.
A deadly spell formed at her lips.
Draco didn’t move.
He wouldn’t attack her. He couldn’t.
But she—
The spell left her wand.
Aimed straight for his heart.
“NO!”
At the last second—
Lola threw herself between them.
The spell slammed into her instead.
And the last thing Draco saw was his twin sister collapsing to the ground.
