Summary: Raven was in a lotbof pain when she want to bed one day and in the middle of the night she started suffocating.

The halls of Malfoy Manor were eerily quiet that night. The usual warmth of the holiday season had faded, replaced by an unnatural chill that seeped into the walls.

Raven lay in her bed, her small body curled beneath thick blankets, but no amount of warmth could stop the creeping, relentless pain inside her. It started as a dull ache, something she had grown accustomed to since the Whispering Woods. But tonight… tonight was different.

Her breathing was shallow, her chest tight. The pain intensified, spreading like wildfire through her veins. She whimpered, her fingers clutching the fabric of her nightgown as darkness curled around her vision.

Then—it hit.

A sharp, searing pain in her lungs.

Raven's eyes snapped open in terror as an invisible force seemed to grip her throat, tightening like a vice. She couldn’t breathe.

Her hands clawed at her neck, her mouth opening in a desperate attempt to gasp for air—but nothing came. Her chest felt like it was caving in, the weight unbearable.

The room darkened, shadows stretching unnaturally along the walls. The air crackled with something sinister, something ancient.

And then—whispers.

Soft, haunting voices curled around her ears, murmuring in a language she didn’t understand. The pain was unbearable, her body convulsing as though something—**someone—**was trying to take control.

Her vision blurred.

Her heart pounded.

She tried to scream, but no sound escaped.

Then—her door burst open.

“RAVEN!”

Lola’s frantic voice cut through the suffocating darkness as she and Mattheo rushed inside.

Draco was only seconds behind them, his wand already drawn.

Mattheo was at Raven’s side in an instant, his hands gripping her trembling shoulders. “Raven, look at me! Breathe!”

But she couldn’t.

Her violet eyes were wide, filled with sheer panic, as her body spasmed violently.

Lola’s hands hovered over her daughter, her mind racing. She recognized the symptoms—this wasn’t just pain. It was possession.

“Draco, we need a counter-curse! Now!” she shouted.

Draco, his face pale but determined, raised his wand. “Finite Incantatem!”

A pulse of magic surged through the room, shattering the dark energy curling around Raven’s small frame.

She gasped, her body jerking as if released from invisible chains. Air filled her lungs again, but the pain… the pain was still there.

Mattheo gathered her into his arms, his voice shaking. “It’s okay, sweetheart. I’ve got you. You’re safe.”

But Raven trembled against him, her tiny hands gripping his shirt with all the strength she had left.

Through ragged breaths, she whispered—

“No… I’m not.”

Lola and Draco exchanged a worried glance, the unspoken truth settling between them.

Something dark was inside Raven. And it wasn’t letting go.
