Summary Lola and Mattheo sat me and Albus down on the couch and talk about the consequence about the bad decisions and then Lola went on with the pregnancy
Raven and Albus sat on the couch in Malfoy Manor, both feeling like children about to be scolded. Mattheo leaned against the fireplace with his arms crossed, while Lola paced in front of them.
Raven sighed. "Really? Do we have to do this?"
Lola shot her a look. "Yes, Raven. We do."
Mattheo exhaled through his nose, looking between them. "Look, we’re not saying you’re doing anything, but you’re together now, and—"
"We just want to make sure you both understand the consequences of bad decisions," Lola cut in, hands on her hips.
Albus, shifting uncomfortably, glanced at Raven. "We're not—"
Lola raised a brow. "Yet. But trust me, things happen, and we’ve seen it firsthand." She folded her arms. "And since I was sixteen and pregnant with you, Raven, I know exactly how hard it is."
Raven groaned, covering her face. "Mum—"
"No, listen!" Lola snapped. "I was young, reckless, and thought I had everything under control. But guess what? Life doesn’t care how ready you think you are."
Mattheo cleared his throat, nodding. "It was hard, Raven. We were still in school, balancing a baby with classes, dealing with the judgment, the stress—"
"—the nausea, the exhaustion, the cravings—" Lola listed off.
"Mum!" Raven groaned, looking like she wanted to sink into the couch.
Albus sat there, absolutely mortified.
Lola ignored them. "And if you think our family is chaotic now, imagine a baby in the middle of all that." She gave Raven a sharp look. "Do you want that?"
Raven shook her head quickly. "No, no, I don’t. Trust me, I know how crazy our family is."
Lola softened slightly. "Good. Because I love you, and I just want you to be smart about this."
Mattheo nodded, looking at Albus. "And you, Potter—if you ever do anything, you better be ready to handle it." His eyes darkened. "Because I will be watching."
Albus gulped. "Understood, sir."
Lola clapped her hands. "Alright, talk over."
Raven groaned. "Finally."
Mattheo smirked. "Oh, don't relax yet. Your uncle Draco wants to have his version of this talk, too."
Raven and Albus exchanged horrified glances.
"Merlin help us."
