Summary: Raven is off to Hogwarts

The Hogwarts Express gleamed under the morning sun at Platform 9 ¾, steam curling into the air as students rushed about, saying their goodbyes and eagerly finding their seats on the train. The platform buzzed with excitement, but amidst the chatter and laughter, Raven stood still, gripping her mother’s hand tightly.

She had been waiting for this day her whole life. She had watched her parents, her Uncle Draco, and even her friends talk about their time at Hogwarts. But now, it was finally her turn—and suddenly, it felt overwhelming.

Lola knelt in front of her daughter, brushing a stray strand of Raven’s dark hair behind her ear. “Are you excited, love?”

Raven nodded, though there was a flicker of hesitation in her deep green eyes. “Yeah… but what if I don’t make any friends? What if I get lost?”

Mattheo ruffled her hair, smirking. “You? Get lost? Please. You already know Hogwarts better than most first-years.”

Draco, standing beside them, folded his arms. “And as for friends—you’ll have no trouble. Just don’t bite anyone this time.”

Raven gasped dramatically. “That was ONE time, Uncle Draco! And she deserved it!”

Draco smirked. “Still—try to behave.”

Pansy chuckled from where she stood beside Draco, holding their young daughter in her arms. “Honestly, Draco, she’s just like you. Hogwarts is doomed.”

Raven giggled before turning back to her mother. “Are you sure you’ll be okay without me?”

Lola smiled, pressing a kiss to Raven’s forehead. “Of course, sweetheart. But I’ll miss you every second.”

Mattheo nodded, crouching beside them. “If you need anything—anything at all—just send an owl, okay?”

Raven nodded quickly, then turned when the train whistle blew, signaling it was almost time to leave.

Lola exhaled, squeezing her daughter’s hand one last time before pulling her into a tight hug. “Go have the best time, my love.”

Raven hugged her back before pulling away and taking a deep breath. She turned, grabbed her trunk, and with one last grin, she stepped onto the train.

As the Hogwarts Express pulled away from the platform, Raven stuck her head out of the window, waving frantically. “BYE! I LOVE YOU GUYS!”

Lola, Mattheo, Draco, and Pansy all waved back, watching as the train disappeared in the distance.

Lola felt a bittersweet ache in her chest. Her little girl was growing up.

“She’s going to be fine,” Mattheo murmured beside her.

Lola nodded, blinking away the tears that threatened to fall. “I know.”

And with that, Raven’s journey at Hogwarts had begun.
