Summary Lola broke the news that she was pregnant  to her brother.

Draco Malfoy sat in the Malfoy Manor study, flipping through old family documents when he heard the familiar click of heels against the marble floor. He didn’t look up immediately—he had been busy handling some estate matters—but the moment Lola cleared her throat, he knew something was up.

He glanced up from the papers to see his twin sister standing there, arms crossed, an odd look on her face.

Draco narrowed his eyes. “What’s with that expression? You look like you either have great news or you’re about to tell me something I won’t like.”

Lola hesitated for a moment before taking a deep breath. “Draco, I need to tell you something.”

Draco leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. “Alright, let’s hear it.”

Lola bit her lip, her hands fidgeting for a brief second before she finally just blurted it out.

“I’m pregnant.”

Silence.

For the first time in a long time, Draco Malfoy was speechless.

His silver eyes blinked at her, his normally sharp tongue failing him as he processed her words. His twin sister—pregnant again.

“You’re—” He paused, rubbing his face with his hands. “Merlin, Lola.”

Lola’s eyes softened slightly. “I know it’s a lot to take in—”

“A lot to take in?” Draco interrupted, standing up suddenly. “You have Raven—who already keeps everyone on their toes—and now you’re having another one? Are you and Mattheo even prepared for this?”

Lola let out a small chuckle. “Draco, it’s not like I planned for this to happen right now, but yes, we’ll handle it.”

Draco sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before finally looking at her properly. His features softened as he shook his head. “You really are insane, you know that?”

Lola smirked. “You love me anyway.”

Draco sighed dramatically before walking over to her, placing his hands on her shoulders. “Of course, I do. You’re my twin, my annoying twin, but still.” His gaze flickered toward her stomach before he huffed. “I suppose I should be happy for you.”

Lola raised an eyebrow. “You suppose?”

Draco rolled his eyes before finally pulling her into a quick, very rare hug. “Fine. I am happy for you. But if Mattheo messes up, he’ll have to answer to me.”

Lola laughed, hugging him back. “Noted.”

As Draco pulled away, he smirked. “Another little one running around the Manor, huh? I hope this one doesn’t bite Umbridge.”

Lola grinned. “No promises.”
