Zuzia wakes up before dawn, having somewhat forgotten what she was last doing and where she is. It's a little disorienting sleeping without her tent, because she often wakes up with the 'where the heck am I' phase, before her brain clears enough to remember how she got to a random spot in some unknown forest.

At some point during the night, she snuck off after the group made camp, informing Verbert that she was doing so for a ritual. Her cheeks flush at the thought of it, but she's surprised at how well it worked.

In this case, it's actually an unknown small forest in the middle of a bunch of fields, since it's another world entirely, and all she has to go off of is a GPS marker on her phone that she's following on a whim. She has no guarantees that Daniel is any better for her health than the royalty she fled from upon her arrival, which still embarrasses her a little when she thinks about it.

There they were, a bunch of people gathered to perform a complex magic spell able to pull a person across dimensions to a whole other world, and she freaked out and ran away thinking they were kidnappers, even after being partially prepared by her own handler of an angel.

And, speaking of the somewhat clumsy angel, Zuzia looks to her right where she is pinned down. A body is snuggled against her, and the owner has a very familiar and unique shade of 'sunset' hair, possessing both orange and violet tones that blend gently and beautifully like a near-perfect sunset in the sky.

As Zuzia remembers the previous night, color undoubtedly finds her own cheeks. She was drunk, no doubt about that. The young Polish woman is certain she would never have made such moves sober, but she doesn't blame herself for the choices she made, nor does she have any regrets. Though, as she thinks about the celestial being in question, she does start to form some doubts.

Amalaskae is clumsy and a little bad at her job, it seems, but she is undeniably caring and enthusiastic about doing anything and everything she can to help Zuzia on her journey. She's beautiful, fun to be around in the way that an older sister can't help but somewhat enjoy taking care of a hapless younger sister, and she seems to have accepted Zuzia's inebriated advances without much hesitation.

Of course, as Zuzia recalls the things she said and did, and how the night turned out, she has to try to distract herself.

It's not something to be discussed in polite company, that's for sure.

The brunette ponders what all happened, as well as what she needs to accomplish moving forward.

I wonder if I should tell Wulfsten and the others... I wouldn't want to inadvertently lead them on. Though, is that arrogant of me to assume that's what they're after?

Zuzia looks at the angel sleeping peacefully against her, hugging her belly with their legs tangled together as the supposedly divine being clings to her normal human summon.

It's probably unfair to assume that's the only reason the guys would want to escort me. Maybe I should just leave it alone for now, and be honest if they try to bring anything up. I don't want to look conceited, but I also don't want to betray their trust.

She sighs. It's complicated dealing with others. Amalaskae is easy. She is very up front, and Zuzia likes her. Nice and simple.

And, she hasn't been hit by a bolt of lightning or a pillar of fire, so it must be acceptable that a lowly human spent the night with an angel.

That said, she does feel strangely hot from Amalaskae hugging her; hotter than she would expect from just another person's body heat.

Do angels have a higher body temperature? I guess that would make sense?
