I know it's been a while since anyone's updated and Jason, Brianna, and Lacey need to update.
NOW, I'm gonna rant.
There is one category for each genre.
Except romance.
There's (of course) romance, and then there's chicklit and teen fiction. I guess the last one isn't really romance but that's all that's on there.
So all I'm seeing advertised is romance books, but they all pretty much have the same plot.
There are three plots that I see all of the time. NOTHING ELSE! IT'S RIDICULOUS!
The first one is the extremely over used and annoying (and in my opinion, sexist) bad boy, good girl story. This is the one I see the most. Sorry to anybody that writes those types of stories BUT PLEASE WRITE SOMETHING ELSE!!!
The second is the player and/or popular guy and the nerd girl falling in love. Or the girl isn't always a nerd, but sometimes just doesn't like the guy. Again, why is the boy always the bad guy and why do people feel the need to write about all the time. This stuff has to get old eventually, right?
The third is that there's some billionaire who falls in love with some chick who he hires. Some thing with the other two. Why is it always the same gender, playing the same role. Most importantly, why is this subject always wrote about.
I've found an overabundance of these stories now. They are unoriginal, bad cliche (I guess there can be good cliche, but this is bad cliche) stories that people feel the need to write about sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.
It get's on my nerves. If these are the future stories of the romance series that will be best sellers, then I am terrified.
While my time in Washington was wonderful, I am pleased to say that I am back in North Carolina. There was this one time there where a bird pooped on my back when I got out of the car. It was soooo gross.
Until next time my fellow robots, with lot's of smiley faces, goodbye.
