You wondered what the weather was like today. Was it cold or warm? Sunny or cloudy?

It had been months since you'd seen the outside world. Months since you had talked to anyone other than Suna.

Suna's hand slid down your back, making you shudder. "I have a match today," he told you softly, "I'll be gone for a few hours, but I'll make sure to make it up to you."

You rolled your eyes since he couldn't see your face. Make it up to me? You held back a derisive snort. There was nothing he could do, short of releasing you, that would make you happy.

Suna stood up and walked around the bed to face you. You schooled your expression, trying to be as uncaring as you could be. He leaned in and pressed a kiss to your forehead, "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you too," you said automatically. A lie, obviously, but it still made him smile.

Suna left the room, the click of the lock following him, and you rushed to the door, placing your ear against the wood and listening. Even after you heard the front door slam shut, you waited another twenty minutes or so, just in case.

Silence.

You pulled a disfigured spoon from your pocket and inserted it in the lock. You'd never tried to lockpick before, so you fumbled with it, randomly twisting and turning it. To your astonishment, the lock clicked, unlocking itself for you.

Letting out a shaky breath, you turned the knob. It offered no resistance and you stepped out into the hallway. Happy tears sprung to your eyes. You actually had a chance to get out of here!

The lights in the house were off, but light filtered in through windows.

Windows!

You rushed over to the closest window and looked out at the backyard. Green grass, blue skies, and pretty flowers... you had wanted to see this sight for months.

Wiping away tears of happiness, you followed the hallway. It was maze-like, complete with dead ends and twists and turns. Finally you made it all the way into the living room, where the front door stood- intimidating and welcoming all at the same time.

The front door was unlocked and swung open easily when you turned the knob and pulled. Tears blurred your vision for a moment before time stopped. You froze in horror.

Suna smirked at you.

"Going somewhere?"

You fell to your knees in shock. You couldn't breathe, couldn't think!

"I knew you'd try something cute while I was 'away'." His voice was soft as always, as though he couldn't care less about the way your escape plan and hopes and dreams had shattered into a million pieces.

"So predictable," he crooned, taking ahold of your chin and tilting your head up to look at him. His thumb brushed away the tear track on your left cheek, but your tears were flowing too quickly for him to make much of a difference.

"Aww, don't worry, bunny, I'm not mad," Suna said, eyes lidded as he looked down at you like a predator does to his prey.

"But still, you do need a punishment..."
