"You want more freedom?"

Iwaizumi's eyes scanned over you, taking in the chains that held you to the bed. He wasn't surprised that you wanted the chains off, even if it was just to go to the adjoining bathroom without permission.

You looked so frightened, bravely asking the question you had probably been saving for days. Your pretty eyes glittered with unshed tears.

Iwaizumi was torn. It wasn't a good idea to let you roam free, even if it was in just one room. What if you managed to break down the door?

"Let's have a competition," you suddenly said, "If I win, I get to roam this room- no chains."

"What do you suggest?" Iwaizumi asked, his interest piqued.

"Mario Kart maybe?" you suggested timidly.

Iwaizumi went silent for a moment, then finally sighed. "Fine, but if I win, you stop complaining about the chains."

"Deal!"

There was already a TV in your room, since he felt bad leaving you without something to do. Iwaizumi went downstairs and fetched the console and controls needed. It had been a long time since he played Mario Kart, but he was pretty good at the game.

He brought it upstairs and set everything up. He released you from your chains and you rubbed your wrists, trembling a little. He handed you a controller and started up the game.

You both chose your characters and cars, then prepared to race. 3, 2, 1, start! The race was close and you fought hard...

But Iwaizumi still won.

"Double or nothing," you gasped, trembling from head to toe.

"You're going to lose again," Iwaizumi warned.

You shook your head, "No way. I'll win this time."

"Fine," Iwaizumi said, choosing a new map and starting the race. He was so focused on winning that, one the first lap, he didn't notice when your car stopped moving. In fact, he only noticed that something had changed when he felt a pressure on his shoulder.

At first, he was ready to lecture you about distracting him (which he considered cheating), but then he realized you were fast asleep. He blinked in surprise, setting down his controller. You laid your head on his shoulder, breathing deeply as you slept.

Iwaizumi looked at the screen. He could easily win now, but it didn't seem fair. It was late at night, so it was no surprise that you were tired- he was too. He took your controller and set it far away from you, so you couldn't trick him, then let his head droop onto yours.

You cuddled close to him in your sleep and Iwaizumi reveled in it, cuddling you back gently, so he wouldn't wake you. Eventually, he fell asleep two, the two of you leaning against each other.

Dawn light filtered through the window, hours later. The two of you stirred, looking at each other, one pair of eyes hesitant and the other loving. The TV had turned off on its own to save power.

"Who won?" you asked, eyes wide.

Iwaizumi hesitated, stroking the top of your head sweetly. Then, he made the decision he knew was right.

"You did."
