I decided to write a few Flufftober prompts based on a lovely suggestion from a precious anon. I'm not used to writing fluff so this will be very short and very bad lol.
Please also understand that I do not glorify Stockholm Syndrome, it's just a story.
Flufftober Prompt: Early Morning Walks
Pairings: Yandere! Sawamura Daichi x F! Reader
WARNINGS: yandere themes, fluff, stockholm syndrome
It was hard to believe you'd been in captivity for over a year. The calendar you'd kept showed as much.
Most of the time you spent in your massive bed, reading books or playing on the internet-less laptop Daichi had given you.
At first, you had fought and fought, but you mellowed out as the months wore on. There wasn't much to do, although Daichi kept your bookshelf filled with new books. But you were feeling cooped up- itching to go outside.
Daichi woke up beside you, stretching out his arms and cracking his back. Nervously, you turned towards him, playing with your fingers. He could sense you had something to ask him and patiently waited for you to speak.
"Your daily jog," you practically whispered, "Can I go on it?"
Daichi's eyes stretched wide- he clearly hadn't been expecting that. You expected him to turn you down immediately, but his eyes softened as he thought it through.
"You won't run away from me?" he asked carefully.
"No," you promised, "I just want to feel the sun on my skin and the breeze on my face."
Daichi sat silent for a little while before he finally said, "Okay. I trust you."
You grabbed a normal outfit, as opposed to your pajamas and rushed into the bathroom to change. You were in and out in 2 minutes flat.
Daichi laughed, "Someone's eager."
You just smiled brightly. You were excited beyond words.
After Daichi had gotten dressed too, (you waited impatiently beyond the door) you intertwined your fingers with his as he unlocked the bedroom door. The two of you walked through the unfamiliar house before he unlocked the front door and you were finally walking outside.
The sun was just rising over the horizon, painting the sky in the most beautiful shade of pink you'd ever seen. There was a slight breeze, which rushed over your face just like you'd dreamed every night for the last month.
Daichi usually went for a jog, you knew that much from how sweaty he came back each day. But today, he walked slowly, holding your hand and smiling at you.
"Don't you want to run?" you asked, perplexed.
"I'd much rather enjoy the morning with you," he said softly, "For now, let's just take it slow."
You were glad for that- you were still stretching your legs that were stiff from little use. Pacing a bedroom was not the same as actually taking a walk, especially with someone with such long legs.
The way Daichi looked at you- with such a softness like you hung the moon and stars- had always been flattering, but here and now? It made your face burn and your shyness return.
He must have sensed that, because he leaned close to you and said, "You're the most beautiful girl in the world."
"I am not!" you squealed, covering your face in embarrassment.
"To me? You are," Daichi affirmed.
The two of you walked side-by-side for a while, just enjoying the way the sun moved higher in the sky.
"It's nice isn't it? Just us out here," Daichi probed.
To your surprise, you realized that you agreed. You nodded your head shyly.
"You know," Daichi mused quietly, "If this was every morning, I'd never go jogging again."
"That's a terrible idea." You shook your head. "You love jogging!"
"I love you more."
