57. He meets your parents

The video attached is mine that I took when Daniel wouldn't show us his bum at Leeds. The way he says underage girls is adorable.

I decided to do this as a blurb since I've never done one like this before 

Brad: Brad would not be nervous at all while you'd be getting ready to leave. You would tell him all about how to win over your parents on the car ride there, so much so that he would have to pull over to calm you down when he realised that you were only telling him exactly what to say and how to act because you were scared that they wouldn't approve of him. When you arrived at the restaurant to meet your parents he would instantly win your mum over because she would think that he looked adorable and when he spoke to her she would love how calming his voice is and saw how much he cares for you and how much live you both have for each other. Brad would buy your drinks for you and pay for both of your half of the bill, pull your chair out for you when you arrived and pull your chair out for you again every time you returned from the bathroom which she would love about him.
Your dad however would be more difficult for Brad to win over as his actions which won over your mum had the opposite effect on your dad and he would think that instead of him being charming, he was actually pretty cocky. He would think that he's a typical "ladies man" and that he wasn't serious about your relationship. However, when Brad left to go and get you another drink and you and your mum began talking about all of the wonderful things he had done for you and how much he loved you and he would begin to warm to him when he realised that Brad was actually perfect for you.

James: James hardly had to do anything to charm your parents. Your sister was a fan of the vamps which was how you eventually came to meet James so your mum and dad practically knew everything about James already. You still live with your parents because you didn't want to move out with James yet to have to live by yourself most of the time due to him being on your quite a lot so you had the opportunity to tell your mum and dad all of the amazing things about him. When James got to your house he would knock on the door with two bunches of flowers, one for you mum and one for you, signed merch for your sister and a bottle of your dad's favourite whiskey for him. He would shake your dads and and kiss your mum on the cheek before crouching down to hug your sister.
With you basically selling him to your parents already along with your sister idolising him and the gusts for your parents he had won them over within the first thirty seconds. Your mum thought he was handsome and very sweet and your dad thought he was pretty trustworthy and gave him their blessing straight after dinner.

Connor: Connor would be so nervous. He would knock on the door so quietly that he would end up being stood outside in the cold for almost 20 minutes because nobody could hear him. Eventually he would text you to ask you to let him in and as soon as he followed you into the living room and see your dad sat on the sofa looking him up and down, he would gulp and stand behind you to avoid your dads judgmental glare. You would all make your way into the dining room and Connor would pull your chair out for you which would make your dad warm to him slightly but not let it show. Connor would call your parents Mr and Mrs y/s/n to be polite even though it made him even more nervous because of the formality. Your dad would fire questions at him which he would answer nervously so you would have to grab his hand under the table to reassure him that he was doing fine. Your dad was still unsure, as was your mum but once they found out that he had a younger brother who he would often take on tour with him and loon after him while he was there they would instantly love him as they realised that if he could take care of his little brother for months on end then he could care for you just as much and when your mum and dad told him to call them by their first names he would instantly relax and you could all enjoy the rest of the night.

Tristan: Unlike the stereotype of boyfriends meeting their girlfriends parents your dad would be very accepting of Tristan and take a shine to him quite quickly due to the fact that Tristan is a drummer and your dad used to play an instrument that relied on a drummer as part of the band and having Tristan around would remind him of when he was younger and all of the experiences he had in the large band. In fact it would probably be your mum who wouldn't approve at first and it would take a long time for her to finally learn to love Tristan. It wouldn't be that she didn't like Tristan or that she didn't trust him. It's the fact that she knew nothing about him as your dad would steal him away from everybody to talk to him about when he was in a band and get him to drum for him so Tristan couldn't yet charm her. However, once you managed to get your dad out of the house to go on a hunt for some rare ingredient in a supermarket Tristan would make his way into the kitchen and ask your mum if she needed any help. From there she would ask him questions about his family band his childhood and your relationship and once she had finally get to know him without your dad being there, she would love him almost as much as you did, but never as much as your dad.
