So... I went to MAC and got my makeup done. And after two years of buying from there I FINALLY GOT FREE STUFF. YAY.

He didn't tell you anything other than a time which already made you pretty nervous since you didn't know where you were going, how long you would be gone for, how you were getting there or if what you were wearing was appropriate. You didn't want to go wearing a dress if you would end up rock climbing but you wore one anyway.
There was a knock at the door so you took your bag from your bed and headed downstairs to let Brad in. When you go to the top of the stairs you saw that your puppy was sat in front of the door waiting to see who was there. Picking her up you opened the door and she squirmed in your arms when Brad was revealed.
"Aw, hello" he cooed to your little puppy. "Can I take her?" He asked already holding out his arms while you stepped back to let him in.
Once the door was closed you handed her over to Brad which clearly made her happy as she licked all over his face as he held her in his hands. "She must like you, she only does that with me" you commented.
"You know, they do say that dogs and babies have the best judge of character so I think you'll have a great time tonight" he smirked holding your puppy close to him one last time before placing her carefully back on the ground.
"I'd have an even better time if I knew where we were going" you commented.
"You'll find out soon enough, I wanted our first date location to be top secret" he replied, wrapping his arms around your waist and leading you out of the door. Not before saying one last goodbye to his new admirer.
During the car ride you had asked Brad countless amounts of times where you were going but every time he would just look over at you and smile slightly.
After driving away from the city centre and towards the forests, fields and meadows of the countryside you felt like you needed to know what he had planned. After all, there weren't really a lot of things to do in the countryside and you weren't really dressed to go on a hike.
Eventually Brad stopped the car in a small car park next to a field that only had flowers growing in it. There were almost every flower you could think of in there and the variety of colours in the light from the setting sun made it look so beautiful. You were so busy admiring the view that you hadn't noticed that Brad was calling you from the gate.
You quickly ran over to him and started to walk through the field with him. Now you had a pretty good idea of what your first date was going to be and the big picnic basket in his hand didn't keep much of it a secret anymore.
Conveniently, there was a large tree directly in the middle of the field which was on slightly higher ground so you could see out into the rest of the countryside and also the city lights. (We have a field exactly like this near where I live, and it's the cutest thing ever)
"Is here alright?" Brad asked nervously when you reached the tree.
"Here is perfect" you smiled, taking a moment to take in your surrounding while he set everything up.
You both took a seat on the blanket situated on the floor and began to eat, talking about your memories of how you first met, laughing when you remembered how Brad fell of his skateboard and rolled down a hill when he tried to impress you having first laid his eyes on you.
"Come on Brad, you so made James swap places with you in registration just so that you cold sit next to me" you teased, watching him blush.
"Okay, maybe I did but he kind of volunteered to I just planted the idea in his head" he defended.
"I'm sorry but I just don't believe you, James would never have volunteered to move away from me because he thought I was the best registration buddy ever" you laughed.
"True, but I have to admit, I'm glad I made him swap with me because then I would never had plucked up the courage to ask you out on a date." He shifted so that he was sat against the tree trunk with you situated between his legs and your back resting against his chest while he played with your hair as you watched the sun set and the lights of the city twinkle in the distance.
"I'm glad you made him swap too, there's nobody I would want to spend this moment with than you" you sighed, wrapping the spare blanket around you both.
"God bless James McVey" you heard him mumble to himself before kissing you on the cheek, making you subconsciously blush.
