Joe smiled as he entered the bedroom he shared with Demi seeing her sat on the edge of the bed looking half asleep just a checkered jacket and white vest top with underwear on but she smiled up at him as he approached and leaned down kissing her gently Demi soon kissing back before he pulled away but she grabbed the collar to his shirt as she fell back on the bed Joe now smirking as he hovered over her. He leaned down kissing her again Demi kissing back as she ran her fingers through his hair Joe's hands either side of her keeping himself up so he wouldn't lay on her and squash her. They both moaned through the kiss as it became heated. Joe was the one who pulled away but Demi brought him back down beginning to kiss his neck making him moan gently.

"Demi we can't, the kids are downstairs," He mumbled but she didn't stop. "Demi." Demi groaned pulling away making him stand up.

"You never want sex anymore! What's wrong?!" Demi exclaimed.

"It's not that I don't want it! You just always want it at the wrong time!" Joe shouted back sighing afterwards. "I don't want to fight with you again Demi, we're meant to be a happy family." He sat on the edge of the bed going to wrap his arm around her but she just pushed him away getting off the bed.

"We already are." She mumbled before making her way into the bathroom.

"Demi!" He called after her but she remained in the bathroom and didn't reply. Joe sighed running his fingers through his hair.

Joe wondered downstairs not long later hoping that Demi would calm down a bit and they could spend the day together, just the five of them. It wasn't often that Joe got the whole day off work and he had booked it off in hope they could go to the beach or the zoo. He had been fighting with Demi a lot over the weeks but didn't want that to affect the kids.

"Daddy!" He smiled when Evie ran over Joe lifting her up in his arms, he kissed her head gently. "Why you sad?"

"I'm fine Evie." Joe answered sitting down on the couch where Evie was sat Evie now staying on his lap Joe locking his arms around her.

"Where's mommy?" Elliot questioned.

"She's just having a shower, she'll be down soon." Joe replied leaning down kissing his head. Elliot was still a momma's boy and Evie was daddy's girl. Elsie loved them both but it depended on the situation they were in to who they came to. They liked Demi to put them to bed, she'd sing to them and read them a story but preferred Joe to make dinner and breakfast. He was a chef but he also knew how they liked their dinner. He didn't want to fight so much with Demi that they broke up and he wouldn't be able to see his children every day, he knew she'd be the one to keep them. He had a strong relationship with them all and he didn't want them to wonder in the future who their dad was because he was hardly around.

Joe followed Demi into the kitchen when she had entered the room greeting the kids before she left. He watched her make her way over to the coffee machine pouring herself one before looking over at him taking a sip from the mug.

"Where do you want to take the kids?" He questioned.

"I don't mind, the zoo? It looks like it might rain." He answered putting her mug down slicing a bagel in half slotting it in the toaster. He could tell she was really trying not to start an argument with him because the kids were in the next room, he didn't know what was wrong with her but over the past couple of weeks she had been trying to argue with him.

"Demi what's wrong?" Joe questioned Demi looking up at him

"Nothing." She mumbled.

"Demi we're in a relationship, you should be able to tell me when something is going on, I want to be there for you but it's impossible to do when you keep pushing away and picking a fight." Joe expressed keeping his eyes on his girlfriend.
