"Wow," Wilmer mumbled leaning back on the chair his fingers coming up to his short dark hair. Demi didn't say anything else wanting to let it sink in for him, she knew it was a lot to take in. The thought of having a baby with a woman he barely knew. They were soon disturbed by a waitress, they quickly took their order before resuming. "Are you sure it could be my baby?"

"Well it's a possibility but like I said it could be Joe's, we already have three kids together so honestly I'm praying it's his. I just thought you'd like to know and I have a appointment tomorrow to check things over, you're welcome to come." Demi explained.

"I'm sorry, this is just a lot to think about, I'll be back in a minute." Wilmer got up heading towards the door. Demi sighed leaning back on her chair bringing her phone out but she couldn't help but smile when she saw her lock screen of her three children. They were her world and she knew this new baby would soon become part of her world too. She missed having Joe around acting like she was the only girl in the world but she understood what she had done and that he needed space to make sure he could trust her again. They still loved each other so much.

"How old are they?" She heard a voice looking behind her seeing Wilmer, it was only then that she realised how long she had been staring at the picture for.

"They are all three, they're triplets." Demi answered as he took his seat back opposite her just in time for their food to come out. Demi had a pasta dish with garlic bread where as Wilmer had a burger and fries. Demi was trying to eat healthy again.

"That's unusual." He stated putting a fry in his mouth.

"It's a confusing story, they were meant to be for Joe and his fiancé because they couldn't have kids so I offered to carry one for them. I conceived Joe's triplets instead of just the one but Emily sadly crash on the way to her wedding. Joe and I decided to raise them together, we've been best friends since we were five." Demi explained.

"So basically you were carrying your best friend's baby?" Demi giggled slightly nodding her head gently as she swallowed some pasta.

"At the time yes but we fell in love, Evie, Elsie and Elliot are close so that makes it a lot easier." Demi replied taking a sip from her drink.

"I'll pay." Wilmer insisted as he brought out his wallet from his back pocket Demi shaking her head as he placed some money down on the table.

"I'll pay for my own, this isn't a date." Demi answered putting her own money down on the table. She felt bad because it was Joe's money. She hadn't managed to get working with having the triplets and it will be even longer now if she was going to raise another baby. She just didn't want to relay on Joe all the time when he had worked hard to earn that money.

"Can it not be a date?" Wilmer questioned.

"I don't know you, this isn't a date. I love someone else, I'm sorry." Demi stated as she got up throwing her bag over her shoulder.

"You didn't think that when I offered you a drink at the bar." Wilmer grumbled as he got up too placing his wallet back in his pocket.

"I wasn't thinking then and you have no idea how much I regret it. I don't want to start a argument, I have to get back home before Joe starts work but I hope to see you on Friday at my appointment." She spoke before walking away. She didn't have time for a relationship that wasn't Joe's and she didn't want anyone else but Joe.

"At least let me drop you off?" Wilmer urged following her but Demi just held up her car keys that she had just took from her bag.

"I drove here, I'm sorry Wilmer but I don't see us ever becoming anything but friends, I love Joe and that's it." She insisted climbing in her car driving away without looking at him again.
