Friday came and they were getting ready for the appointment. Demi hoped that Wilmer would make a appearance, if he didn't she didn't have any hope of getting any help from him when the baby came if it was his baby. If not she didn't really plan to even be friends with him. He had texted her asking her out again but she was sure she belonged to Joe and she was continuing to wait until he was ready to start things up again. Joe and Demi only left the house when Dianna was there to take care of the triplets just while they were gone, they planned to come straight home afterwards. They reached the hospital entering the maternity part Demi smiling slightly as she saw Wilmer already waiting for them. It gave her hope that he would be there throughout the pregnancy until they knew who's the baby was and if it was his stick around after that.

"Hi Wilmer, this is Joe, Joe this is Wilmer," Demi introduced sighing as they just murmured to one another. "Remember what we talked about Joseph, I'm going to sign in." Demi wondered away to the reception desk Joe and Wilmer's eyes meeting one another's.

"What's your deal anyway? You could have the most beautiful girl there and your waiting? I don't quite understand." Wilmer stated.

"Because she cheated on me with you and I need time to make sure that it won't happen again. I've been through a lot with Demi and a lot by myself, I don't need you to tell me how to live my life." Joe muttered to him not wanting to sound rude, he wanted to respect him knowing he could well be the father of the baby Demi was carrying.

"I still don't understand." Wilmer mumbled.

"There's nothing for you to understand, Demi has been in my life since we were barely out of diapers. She'd always pick me over any other guy considering she's had a crush on me since we met. I don't want to start a fight with you." Joe answered but smiled as Demi wondered back over looking between them laughing slightly when Demi gave him a stern look. She had told him to be nice before they came in and had a chat in the car. He wanted to make her happy.

"Is everything okay?" Demi questioned looking between them again.

"Everything is fine, we were just chatting." Joe stated kissing her forehead.

"Everything is wonderful." Wilmer slouched down on a chair not too far away.

"What did you say Joseph?" Demi questioned looking up at him.

"Just the truth, I'll be back." Joe wondered away Demi taking in a huge breath before sitting down next to Wilmer. She just wanted it to be civil between the three of them.

Once Demi was called through she had some blood taken which gave them the all clear that she was pregnant and the test wasn't wrong or something was up with her period. She had her weight taken, blood pressure done before she was laid back on the hospital bed. She would be having a scan to see how the baby was doing but she was only five weeks now and not much to see. Joe and Wilmer were both sat down but Joe was next to Demi whereas Wilmer was next to Joe.

"Can you remember when we went through this with the triplets?" Demi inquired as she tilted her head looking up at Joe. The midwife was checking the screen to make sure everything was going smoothly but it was hard because Demi wasn't very far along.

"Of course, there better only be one in there or even two is better than three. I can't cope with triplets again." Joe complained Demi laughing.

"Have you ever been to a sonogram Wilmer?" Demi questioned.

"I went to one of my sister's when she had her son because my brother in law couldn't be there. That was her twenty week one though." Wilmer stated.

"There is only one baby." The midwife stated stopping their conversation but they didn't mind if it meant seeing how the baby was. Joe and Demi cheered slightly the two of them laugh with each other. They all became a little emotional when the screen turned and the nurse pointed out their baby for the first time.
