Joe bit his lip gently as he stood in the kitchen running his fingers through his hair. He didn't mean to kiss Demi in the first place but he couldn't deny how good the kiss was and that he wanted to just go back in there in crash his lips back onto hers but at the same time he felt terrible. He wasn't ready to move on and he didn't want to hurt Demi. He took in a deep breath knowing he had to go back into the living room and speak to her, she was his best friend and he didn't want to upset her. He entered the living room sighing when he saw that she was crying. He sat back down next to her giving her a hug. Demi hugged him back.

"I'm sorry Demi," He whispered in her ear. "I shouldn't have done that, I just panicked." Demi pulled away from him cracking a small smile as he wiped away her tears.

"It's okay." Demi mumbled.

"I'm falling for you Demi I really am, I'm not trying to play with you." Joe admitted looking into her eyes as she looked back, something she tried to avoid doing.

"R-Really?" She questioned Joe nodding his head gently.

"But I'm not ready to do anything about it yet, it's been two months since Emily died and since I should have got married. Give me time then we'll try us." Demi nodded her head gently a smile on her face as he pulled her into another hug. Demi laid her head down on his chest able to hear the beating of his heart as Joe took in her scent. She had waited seventeen years for him, she could wait however long it took Joe to get over Emily.

"I'm so happy for you guys!" Denise exclaimed as she gave them both a hug. Joe smiled as she did hugging his mother back. He thought he'd be a little disappointed that he wasn't having a son but he wasn't. He was more than excited about having three little girls. He knew he was going to regret thinking that when they were all teenagers.

"They still think that baby C is okay." Demi stated.

"Trust the doctors Demi, they know what they are doing." Denise advised leading them both into the living room where they took a seat Joe making sure Demi was comfortable before he settled down. They were going around everyone's houses to give them a picture of their three girls and share the news that they were welcoming three girls into the family.

"I know I should but I still worry that something is wrong that they can't see through a sonogram but I'm sure everything is fine." Demi answered.

"Have you thought about any names yet?" Denise questioned.

"I think we both have names to put on the table but we haven't confirmed anything yet, are you knitting something?" Joe answered adding in his own question.

"I was going to do some hats as well as blankets and put their names on their hats so when you sort them out let me know." Joe nodded his head gently.

"My Gran used to knit all the time." Demi frowned but cracked a smile when Joe kissed the side of her head laying his hand down on her leg.

"I bet she was amazing at it, Gran's always are."

"She was amazing, she'd always knit stuff for us like blankets and cardigans. I never used to wear them when I was a little older because I thought they were lame but I wish now that I had worn them." Joe rubbed her leg gently as she sighed.

"Do I have to be the one to help you get over a death now?" Demi giggled gently.

"No I'm over it, I just miss her." They engaged into a conversation as Paul came to chat again but they soon left wanting to tell everyone the good news before it got too late, Demi was starting to ache a little bit and they wanted to get it done as soon as they could so they could get home and Demi could have a nice relaxing bath.
