After school Joe went over to Demi's house so they could do their homework together before heading back to his house for dinner. The only thing he's had on his mind all day is Emily and how she had a crush on him, he didn't understand why she would have a crush on him. He didn't find himself attractive in that way, he hung his bag up slipping his shoes off throwing them in the shoe rack then making his way into the kitchen giving his mother a hug. He may be eleven but he was still a momma's boy.

"Afternoon my baby boy, how was school?" Denise questioned as she hugged her son back before they both pulled away from each other.

"It was okay, do you know where Kevin is?" Joe answered adding in his own question.

"In his room doing homework, why?" Denise replied passing him a bottle of water from the fridge. She always made sure her sons ate correctly and drunk enough in the day, it was rare she gave them soda or anything that will change the way they live.

"I need some girl advice." Joe admitted jumping slightly when his mother squealed. She was thinking maybe he had finally realised that Demi has a crush on him and that he had started to form one too. He was young to date but a crush was harmless.

"Go disturb him, he can do the rest of his homework later." Denise encouraged pushing him out the room smiling when she saw him carry on his journey.

Joe made his way to his brother's door knocking on it gently. The door soon opened revealing his older brother smiling down when he saw it was Joe. Kevin was fourteen, three years older than Joe but he had just broken up with a girlfriend and was Joe's best shot at getting some advice about his girl problems at school.

"Can I have some advice?" Joe questioned Kevin nodding letting his brother in. "It's about a girl at school." Kevin couldn't help but smile.

"What's her name?" Kevin questioned too as they took a seat down on the bed.

"I'd rather not say, she's just had a crush on me since kindergarten but now she won't get off my back. I don't want to hurt her feelings." Joe explained.

"It's a hard thing to do but you have to hurt her feelings if you want her to back off, are you sure you don't like this girl?" Kevin asked Joe shaking his head gently.

"She seems like a nice girl but I don't know that I'm ready for a girlfriend yet, I'm only eleven but everyone in class has already kissed someone!" Joe exclaimed. "When did you kiss a girl for the first time?" Joe looked up at his older brother.

"Can I tell you a secret?" Joe nodded his head this time. "I haven't yet, it's not something you need to do in a relationship Joe. As soon as your ready you can do that sort of thing and not before." Joe beamed a smile making Kevin smile too.

"What about where babies come from though? When do you do that kinda thing?" Kevin couldn't help but laugh tickling his younger brother making him laugh.

"You can't do that yet either Joe not until your older otherwise you might have a baby!" Kevin exclaimed pushing his brother down on the bed beginning to wrestle with him. Joe just laughed trying to fight back but his older brother was stronger and bigger than what he was.

"Come on boys I think that's enough." Denise lectured the two boys pulling away from each other their hairs now messy.

"Were you listening mom!" Joe feared blushing slightly.

"No Joseph now come on." She smiled as Joe ran out of the room embarrassed. Being a mom was one of the best things she ever chose to do. She loved her three boys more than anything and was excited to tell them that they were all becoming big brothers again with Paul later on that night. Then it would start all over again.
