Joe sighed as he laid down on the bed next to Demi bringing her into his arms. She cried into his chest a little bit, the emotions were high, he knew how much she was hoping he was the father of the baby and if he wasn't he thought she knew that he was going to leave. He would never leave completely but he knew he couldn't live in a house where he watched Demi raise another man's baby. He'd just move out the house and take the triplets on weekends.

"I'm sorry." Demi mumbled.

"It's okay Demi, no matter what happens we'll always be best friends. You're the most important person in my life." Joe answered kissing her hair. He didn't care that Wilmer was sat across the room giving him a somewhat glare.

"Will you though? Will you still be able to look at me the same knowing what I did to you, cheated then got pregnant." Demi questioned.

"I-I don't know Demi but don't worry about it until we get the results." Joe wiped away some of her tears Demi smiling as he leaned down kissing her cheek gently leaving his lips there longer than needed before pulling away.

"Thanks Joe." Demi mumbled laying her head on the pillows but his arms and her arms remained around each other as the room fell quiet again waiting for the results to come back all eager to know what's going on.

It felt like a lifetime but soon enough Doctor James came back through with a envelope in his hands. He gave them all a warm smile handing Demi the brown envelope.

"Nobody knows the results yet, it will be marked on your records who the father of your baby is in a couple of days. The test is accurate but it will be more accurate when the baby is born, I suggest asking for a DNA test then," They all agreed. "I wish you all the best of luck." He left the room so they could have some privacy.

"Just stay calm." Joe whispered in Demi's ear seeing her hands shaking as she begun to open it Wilmer now stood the other side of her. She pulled out the paper out of the envelope unfolding the sheet the three of them reading it together. Joe smiled down at Demi as she smiled back up the sheet of paper falling into her lap.

"I hope your happy!" Wilmer screamed. "I'm glad you both got what you wanted. Congratulations." He left the room Demi sighing.

"I should go see him." She begun to get up but Joe stopped her.

"I'll go." He kissed her head before getting up following in the direction Wilmer went in.

"Wilmer stop!" Joe demanded grabbing his hand forcing him to stop and turn around. Wilmer just gave him a glare his arms crossed over his chest.

"You're the last person I want to speak to." He mumbled.

"I know I'm not your favourite person ever and you're not mine but you need to be a adult about this. So the baby is mine? Surely that's better on your behalf. You can find the girl of your dreams now and have children with her and not some girl who you knocked up because she cheated on her boyfriend and told you she was single." Joe expressed.

"You have no idea how long I've waited to find a girl like Demi, she's the girl for me." Wilmer muttered avoiding eye contact again.

"I'm afraid that's not true, Demi is the girl for me and she always has been. She's been next to me throughout so much and I'm not scared to say I'm madly in love with her which is why it hurt me so much when I found out she was pregnant and it might not even be mine. This will all blow over and in the future when you have your son or daughter in your arms that came from the woman you actually love you'll realise what I'll have in nearly six months. Just give it time man." Joe encouraged but Wilmer shook his head gently. He wasn't convinced that Demi wasn't the girl he should be with, he had strong feelings for her.

"I'm not so sure, I'll stay away but it might just be the worst mistake I've ever made." Wilmer answered looking up at him.

"Thank you, I'm not only asking for Demi back tonight, I'm going to propose. We have a family together, it was always going to be me Wilmer." Joe patted his arm gently before entering the room again Wilmer's eyes on him the whole time.
