Demi still had hold of Elliot but Joe only had hold of Elsie now that she was getting fussy, he was rocking her gently but they both knew they would need to feed. Babies are usually fed within the hour of being born but they hadn't been yet. Demi couldn't believe how small Elliot was compared to his sisters, she was upset that he would have to stay here but if that's what he needed then she wouldn't complain. There was a knock on the door before it opened revealing Miranda again like promised, Demi would need assistance on breast feeding.
"Shall we try with your son first since he's smallest?" She suggested Demi nodding her head gently as she approached her.
"We decided to call him Elliot, his name was going to be Ellie." Demi smiled caressing her son's cheek as he begun to whimper a little bit getting hungry too.
"That is a beautiful name." She complimented the new parents thanking her before she begun to assist on Demi breast feeding but Elliot couldn't seem to get the hang of it and it was important at this time that they were all fed and winded so they could have a proper nap with a full tummy. It was important for Elliot to feed so he could grow big and strong.
"Why won't he latch on?" Demi questioned getting a bit frustrated.
"There could be plenty of reasons but at the moment it's important he feeds something so I'm going to go make him a bottle," She begun taking Elliot from her. "Try with the girls then daddy can feed him a bottle once I've made it." Joe laid Elsie down in Demi's arms Elliot now in his to keep him from bursting out crying like he was close when he didn't know who Miranda was. Miranda assisted on Demi feeding Elsie then helping Evie too feed. She left in a hurry to make a bottle.
"Why won't he feed but they will?" Demi questioned hissing slightly at the pain. "It hurts." She mumbled laying her head back.
"It will do for the first couple of times but at least they are feeding." Joe leaned over kissing her temple gently Demi smiling as she stared down at her girls who were feeding from her breasts. It was starting to be a little less painful.
"I can't wait for everybody to meet them." Demi grinned as Joe continued to rock Elliot in his arms trying to settle him a little bit. He could now see how much smaller he was to when he was holding his sisters but they knew he would catch up soon enough. He would probably make up for it when he's older and wanting to eat the whole kitchen.
"They still think it's three girls." Demi stated.
"I'm sure when they've all fed we can have some visitors." He too was looking forward to everyone meeting his son and daughters, it was a huge surprise for them to have a son and they couldn't wait to see their reaction.
"We're gonna need to go buy some boys clothes and other bits. Luckily the nursery isn't pink." Joe laughed as Miranda came back with a bottle. He put the end of the bottle into Elliot's mouth the young boy beginning to feed as Miranda assisted him showing him how to do it without causing any discomfort to the young boy.
Evie, Elsie and Elliot were fed and winded before laid down in the crib so they could go to sleep. Evie and Elsie were asleep but Elliot was soon up in Demi's arms again as he begun to whimper, it was frustrating as parents not knowing what he wanted or what was wrong with him but it was clear there was something. Demi was bouncing him in his arms as she shushed him but he soon started crying. Joe leaned over looking at his mouth and hands.
"Demi he has a rash and his mouth his swollen." Joe stated Demi looking too feeling the tears burning her eyes.
"Go get a nurse." She demanded Joe rushing off. Demi shushed the newborn boy as he became hysterical, she wanted him calm but she also didn't want him to wake his sisters.
