When we made it to the park, it was pretty chilly, considering it was by the lake. We sat at a picnic table that was right along the water.
"Did you bring your algebra book?" He asked
"No, I thought you would have..."
"Oh, well so much for that idea."
"We can tomorrow." I said. I was dying to ask him one question.
"How did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Throw hunter and his friends around? You litterally threw him onto the table..."
"I lift."
"Seroiusly. D-do you take steroids?"
"No?! I wouldnt ever do drugs."
"Then how? How did you catch up to me so fast to? How did you read my mind on the way here?!"
"I cant tell you yet..."
"What do you mean yet?"
"You ask to many questions."
"You leave to many unanswered Nick." He closed his eyes and took a long deep breath.
"Say it again..."
"Say what again?"
"My name."
"No?!" He shot me a look in the eye that made me dizzy. I couldn't look away. I could feel him digging in my brain. I could feel him tugging my heart. I could feel him in my soul. He looked away. And stared into the water. I stood up. Almost crying.
"Why are you leaving?" He asked. He jogged over to me and grabbed my arm, causing me to feel weak.
"I need to go." I said. He turned me around.
"Sorry, I just cant help myself." he smiled shyly and bit his lip. He leaned into kiss me but I turned back. He laughed out loud.
"I just want to know more about you."
