Destined

"What's for dinner?" hindi ko na nagawang lingunin si Cian ng maramdaman ko ang pagyakap nya saakin mula sa likod at pag patong ng baba nya sa balikat ko.
"Hey." Natatawa kong saway when he tried to smell my neck.
"Baby, you smell so good." He said.
"Eww.. Cian what's with the 'baby' thing..tigilan mo nga ako sa tawag mo na  yan ha."
"Bakit ba? You're my baby..so I'll call you baby. Dapat nga Princess since I'm your Prince, but that Nate bastard friend of mine is already calling you Princess.."matabang nyang sabi.
"Seriously Cian, I'm fine with the 'Gorg' thing.. I don't want some cheesy name calling.." nakangiwi kong sabi.
"You preferred 'Gorg'? Why because you always want to hear me calling you Gorgeous?" he teased.
Natatawang inalis ko ang mga braso nyang nakayakap saakin at umikot ako paharap sakanya. Kinawit ko ang braso ko sa leeg nya at nakipagtitigan sakanya.
"Kahit hindi mo pa ako tawagin na 'Gorg' I still know to myself that I'm really Gorgeous.. hello?! kaya ka nga head over heels saakin kasi alam mong you will never find someone as Gorgeous I am!" I said as I winked at him.
He chuckled.
"You really know how beautiful you are don't you? He said as he pinched my nose.
"Of course!" I smiked at him as I removed his hand off my nose.
Natatatawang niyakap nya ako.
"I really missed this you know.."
I sighed as I pat his back.
"Hmnn..let's eat, dinner is ready." Sabi ko.

 
The night went well, we had our dinner in silence. But after our dinner as we snuggled at the couch and watched some movies that made our mood lightened up. We spent our time watching and chatting. We did not do anything that we both know that we might regret later. I woke up early and cooked breakfast for us. Today is Cian's Birthday, as much as I wanted to bake a cake for him, I can't because we don't have any ingredients.. but I was able to cooked pancakes I think that will do. Luckily I was able to find a candle in one of the drawers at the kitchen.  I was able to cook beacon and egg too.
Excited akong naggpunta sa room ni Cian, yes..sa room nya. We had separate rooms last night even though we both know that we wanted to sleep beside each other we decided to sleep in different rooms as a sign of respect to Travis, I know he will get hurt if he will know that I spent a night with Cian but he will be devastated if he will learn that we slept in a same room.. and that would be too much. Good thing Cian was able to respect my decision and he did not even insist on it.

Naabutan kong tulog parin si Cian, it's only seven am after all. Nilapag ko ang tray sa table at umupo  sa kama para pagmasdan syang habang natutulog.
He looks peaceful while sleeping, and that made me feel happy. Hinaplos ko ang buhok nya, ang talukap ng mata nya at ang tungki nang ilong nya and he did not even stirred. I will never get tired of watching him like this. His handsome face is always inviting, he's always been proud of his looks..who wouldn't? he looks lika a model from GQ.
"Cian.." tawag ko sakanya sabay tapik. Bigla naman itong gumalaw."Wake up sleepy head!" pangungulit ko.
Dahan dahan itong nagbukas ng mata, nag inat ito at nakangiting bumalikwas ng bangon.
"Happy birthday!" bati ko sakanya sabay abot ng tray na may laman ng breakfast nya. "I'm sorry, yan lang nagawa ko..wala kasing stock ang ref nyo.." natatawa kong sabi.
"You don't have to do this you know.. you being here with me is more than enough..thanks for the effort though. This is my happiest birthday ever!" he said then gave me a big hug.
"Tsss..bola!" I snorted that made him chuckle. "I blow mo muna yung candle, isipin  mo nalang cake yang pancake..make a wish first then blow the candle!" excited kong sabi.
Bumitaw sya saakin at pinamasdan ang isang pirasong candle na nakatusok sa apat na layers na pancake.
"Yeah, I'll make a wish because I need all the help in the world just to have you." He said then he blew his candle.
"You should'nt have told me about your wish..it will not come true since you revealed it." I teased, but deep inside, my heart is aching for him. I know that he is hurting and that's because of me and he is having a hard time.
"Don't worry about it, I still believe that one day you'll come back to me." He said as he kissed the back of my palm. "I love you Carra Amethyst Ferrer, you're God's gift to me."




"Cian!" natatawang saway ko sakanya.
Nandito kami ngayon sa isang supermarket sa tagaytay. Nag decide kami mag groceries for our lunch, ayaw nya kasi na kumain kami sa labas, ang gusto nya ay magluto kaming dalawa at magbake ng cake. Pero ng dumating kami sa supermarket ay kung ano ano ang pinagdadampot, mga chocolates at junk food, namiss daw kasi nya kumain ng mga yun.
"What?" nakasimangot nyang tanong.
"Ang dami nang junk food mo..that's too much don't you think?" nakataas kilay na sabi ko.
Lalo syang napasimangot sabay dampot sa junk food na kinuha nya at martsa pabalik sa junk food area habang ako ay nailing na naglakad papuntang baking ingredients.
Lumipas na ang ilang sandali pero wala pa rin si Cian, halos makompleto ko na ang mga kailangan namin ay di ko pa sya nakikita kaya nag decide ako na balikan sya sa Junk food area. At hindi nga ako nag kamali nandoon parin sya, pero hindi sya nag iisa. Kasama nya si Ashley. Bigla saakin napatingin si Cian na naging sanhi na mapatingin saakin si Ashley.
Halata sa mukha nito ang pagkagulat, pero agad din naman itong nakabawi.
"Well, well..well.. look who's here?" she said in a disgusted voice. "Kaya pala ayaw mo sabihin kung bakit ka nandito sa tagaytay, yun pala may tinatago ka.." baling nya kay Cian.
"Ashley.." pigil ni Cian.
"If I'm not mistake, you and Travis are still together?! So why are you here with Cian? Are you cheating on Travis? Tingnan mo nga naman oh..tama nga ang kasabihan na 'when the cat's away the mice will play'" nakangisi nyang sabi.
In other circustances hindi ako papayag na pag Sali salitaan ako ni Ashley. But she hit the button and all I can do is to keep my mouth shut.
"Kawawang Travis, umalis para tulungan sa problema sa kompanya ang daddy nya, hindi nya alam ang girlfriend nya na iniwan nagpapakasaya kasama ang EX nya.."
Napalunok nalang ako at umiwas ng tingin.
I feel so guilty, dahil lahat ng sinabi nya ay totoo. And I'm so ashamed of myself right now, dahil kahit pagbalik baliktarin pa I have the choice to say NO to Cian, but I didn't instead I said YES with all my heart.

"Bitch. I told you to stop right?" Cian said and suddenly he is already infront of me, blocking Ashley fRom my view, I'm facing his back while he is facing Ashley.
"Cian! I'm just putting some sense in her head! I know you're a Playboy and you've done this a couple of times before—"
"What do you mean?" putol ko sa sinasabi nya, habang sinubukang kong tanawin sya.
"Carra—"
"What I meant is si Cian sanay ng pumatol sa may boyfriend na so don't feel special na akala mo hinahabol habol ka ni Cian!"
"Bloody hell!" Cian cursed as he grabbed Ashley's shoulder. "I told you to shut your mouth right?! Wala ka na bang alam gawin kundi mang gulo ng mang gulo?! You mind your business and stay away from us!" he said then he pushed Ashley that made her stumble.
"Let's go Gorg.." he said as he holds my hand and pulled me with him.
"You're playing with fire Carra!" Ashley yelled.
Tahimik na nagbayad kami ng groceries at bumalik ng FJ Cruiser. Walang imikan hangang sa makadating kami sa resthouse. Nang  pumasok kami ng bahay ay dumiretso ako sa kwarto na tinutuluyan ko at naupo sa kama. Hindi ko alam kung gaano ako katagal na nakaupo at naktulala. Nagulat nalang ako ng Makita na nakaupo na sa tabi ko si Cian, at nakahawak na sa pisngi ko ang kamay nya.
"Please don't tell me that you're thinking about what Ashley said about me having a fling with a girl who has a boyfriend?" he asked in a worried voice.
I smiled at him and shook my head.
"Nope.." I murmured.
"Then what are you thinking?"
"Nothing.."
"Gorg.. you know that I was a Playboy and it's all in the past now, I love you and---"
"I know Cian, I know your history even before we did the bet, even before I fell in love with you.. I know everything about your Cassonova days.. and I don't care about that.. kasi nga diva it's all in the past. And I know that you Love me."
He sighed in relief.
"Then please tell me what's inside that pretty head of yours?"
I chuckled.
"I'm just.. a little bit guilty about what she said. About Travis..you know." I murmured. He leaned towards me and kissed the top of my head.
"Don't be..we've talked about this right?"
I nodded and leaned on his shoulder.
"Yes.. I'm sorry. "


We tried to forget what happened during the morning as we made ourselves busy cooking and having fun. We laugh a lot and played like we were a normal couple, we had been happy. We both know that we were happy for a short period of time, and that time will come and everything has to end.
We are now here infront of our house. Silenece is eating us, I know that I should have leave the car but I can't seem to move, it doesn't feel right.
"Thank you, this is the happiest birthday that I ever had." He said while smiling warmly.
"Oh come on.. ang OA mo, we both know that the happiest birthday in our lives is the time when we get to celebrate it with our family and friends..kanina dalawa lang kaya tayo.." nakangiwi kong sabi pero sinuklian Nya yun ng isang ngiti.
" I have been dreaming to celebrate my birthday with you since last year..and celebrating it with you  was a dream come true! Making it my happiest birthday ever! " kibit balikat na sabi nya. Napatango tango naman ako, napahawak ako ng mahigpit sa seatbelt ko.
"If you say so, I'm glad that I was able to make your dream came true." I said trying to cheer up my voice. "But.. let's not forget our agreement.." sabi ko sabay lingon sa bintana .
"Yeah, don't worry I'll do my part..i wont do anything to make the two of you separate.. because fate is on my side.. we are destined to be together, so we will be together someday." He said as if he is just stating a fact.
