New Life

(Corinne's POV)

Uhg! I'm so late na! nakakiinis naman kasi na alarm clock yun! It's so expensive pa naman yet so useless! Kasi naman Carra's no longer sleeping in her condo! Wala tuloy nagchecheck saakin kung gising na ako! Ever since na bumalik yang Timothy na yan, bihira na mag stay si Carra sa condo yan! That guy is really getting into my nerves!

I was so busy insulting Timothy inside my mind that's why I haven't noticed the person in front of me, I bumped into him buti nalang nahawakan nya ako bago ako matumba. I was about to apologize pero I changed my mind when I saw who the person is.

Makita ko palang sya may whole day is sooo ruined na! So kakaasar!

I stepped backwards para mapalayo sakanya and I just looked at him for a second then I walked passed through him.

"Hey since when you became a snob?" nang aasar nyang sabi.

I just ignored me.

But like a pamwiset he is, he followed me parin.

"You used to be so nice to me!" he said.

I rolled my eyes and as I continue walking, but he suddenly grabbed my hand which made me stop.

"Ouch ano ba!" inis kong sabi. "Will you remove your filthy hand nga to my precious hand!" nakangiwi kong sabi.

He laugh.

"You're still cute and maarte." He teased.

"I'm a girl so I'm entitled to be maarte! And so what ba? Beside ikaw rin naman maarte ah.. to think that I'm so gorgeous and yet nag inarte ka pa sa beauty ko! like wow ha!" I said.

But I suddenly stop, I almost curse myself when I realized what I've said to him.

I sounded so bitter.

I looked at him magkasalubong kilay nya then bigla syang tumawa.

I felt like my cheeks turned red.

"Wow I didn't know that you're still carrying a grudge on me?" he teased.

"Whatever Timothy! Just go away!" I said then I pushed him.

"You ain't over me yet?" he said in a serious voice.

I bit my lips, I know that my hands are already shaking. I must calm down.

He shouldn't know that I'm still affected by his presence.

He shouldn't...

I held my head high then I turned to look at him.

"It's been how many years Timothy..It's just a puppy love..not even first love. So no! I'm so over you already. I just want you out of my life as much as possible so please don't over think. Don't think that you're the one who got away." I said then I left him.

Damn Him!

Nagdirediretso ako sa room namin, buti nalang wala pang prof. Naabutan kong nag tatawanan si James at Eunice, while si Shawn at Nate are acting like they have their own world habang nasa isang tabi at naglalaro ng COC nila. I can't see Luke anywhere so baka he's not here pa, in the other row Cian and Carra are together, nakasandal si Carra sa balikat ni Cian while Cian is playing Carra's fingers.

I was about to greet them when I heard Sophie's  gossip, she is one of our classmate.

"I don't know kung maiinsipre ako sakanya o maawa ako sakanya? Imagine pinagpalit na sya ni Drake and yet ng mag sorry at nanghingi ng chance binalikan pa nya?" Sophia said.

"What can we do? In love eh.." Regine one of her friends said.

"Di na uso martyr friend.." sabi ng isa na katabi nila, whom I forgot the name.

"I've heard that they were engaged, fixed marriage yata pero alam ko si girl in love na kay guy dati pa..hangang sa na engage na nga sila, pero si guy daw may girlfriend pa rin na iba, nug una ok lang sa girl pero ayun nag sawa yata she called the engagement off..tapos bigla naman naghabol si guy, then ayun pinagbigyan naman ni girl pero after ilang months lang nalaman ni girl na di pa pala hiwalay si guy at yung girlfriend nya so iniwan nya si guy tapos ngayon nakiusap ni guy na last chance nalang daw..eh si girl sobrang in love kay guy ayun, nagbalikan na naman sila."

"Grabe..is she stupid or what?!"

"She's in love kasi!"

"Pero kahit na...di dapat ganun, kawawa sya sa huli..di na ko magtataka pag umulit pa si guy."

"Kawawa si girl tinetake for granted ni guy."

"At ang nakakaloka pa doon is sabi ni guy mahal naman nya si girl pero sadyang ganun lang daw talaga sya, kaya kung masasaktan daw uli nya si girl sana patawarin daw uli sya!"

"Shit! ano yun nagpapapaalam pa sya sa future na pagkakamali nya! So may balak pa sya ipagpatuloy ginagawa nya!"

"What a jerk!"

I was about to comment pero Carra caught my attention.

Umayos sya ng upo then she turned towards Cian.

"I pity the girl, but she's in love so I can't blame her..sometimes even the smartest person can be the most stupid one when it comes to talk of the hearts.." seryoso nyang sabi kay Cian.

Cian laugh then he snatched her hand and kissed the back of her palm.

"And why are you telling that to me Gorg?" he said in a teasing manner.

Carra shrugged.

" I just want you to know that I love you, but I'm not stupid and not a martyr..but if it's the only way to make you stay with me, if it's the only way for me to have you then I'm willing to be stupid and Martyr...But...I have a limitation Cian, so if I quit it means it's over..I will never have you back." She said in a serious voice.

Cian's lips parted, he looks confused..maybe because of how Carra acted, it's like she's relying a message to him.

Like giving him a warning.

"Gorg.."

"I'm just reminding you Playboy!" she said then she smiled at him.

PLAYBOY...that's how she calls him, it's her endearment to Cian, at first ayaw pa pumayag ni Cian pero nasanay na rin sya.

Carra is right, sometimes stupidity and martyrdom will push you through your limit.

There's what we called MOVING ON.

That will serve as your savior..

To move on means NEW LIFE..

And that's what I'm cherishing now, my NEW LIFE.
