Lovesick

Prologue

Jasmine's POV

I walked to the kitchen to see my boyfriend in there, cooking on the stove, shirtless. I walked up to him and sat on the counter. "Hey babe whatcha making?" I asked. 

"Pasta." he said, taking a spoon and putting some sauce on it, then said, "try some." he said. He blew on it to cool it down then fed me the sauce. "mmmm." I said. "That tastes delicious." 

"Why thank you beautiful." he said. "It's my mother's recipe."

"Mama Mendes!" I said. "I love mama Mendes." I said, giggling. 

"Well one day maybe you'll become the next mama Mendes." Shawn said. I looked up at him and said, "Shawn, what are you talking about?" I questioned him. Shawn shut the stove off, putting the pot aside on the counter then wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I wrapped my legs around his waist. "I dunno." he said, shrugging looking down at my lips. I looked up at his eyes and smiled. "Cmon Shawn." i said. "What did you mean by that?" I asked. 

"Stop pressuring me Jasmine." he said then threw me over his shoulder, earning a yelp from me. Shawn brought me up the stairs, into our room. 

"Shawn Mendes put me down." I said, kicking my legs around and punching his back. 

"Okay princess." Shawn said, then set me down on the bed. Shawn hovered over me, smiling. I traced his abs with my fingertip, smiling wide. "You're so cute." he said. 

"You're the cute one Shawn." I said. 

"Sure." he said, sarcastically, then leaned in. I leaned as well then kissed him passionately, running my hand through his brown puffy hair. I felt Shawn's tongue beg for entrance into my mouth. I teased him, not wanting to let him in. Shawn rubbed my inner thigh, trying to have me let him in. I smiled, then let him in. Shawn explored around my mouth then broke the kiss. "You're such a bad girl." he said. I smiled wide, a giggle escaping my lips. 

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you." I blurted out. He looked into my eyes then smiled wide. "I love you too." he said. Shawn leaned in and gave me a sweet, short kiss. 

"promise me something." he said, laying down beside me. I turned myself to face him then looked up at him. 

"Anything babe." I said. 

"Promise me that you'll always be part of my life no matter what." he said, looking down at me. 

"I promise." I said, resting my head on his chest.
