Chris X Ashley: How We Met

Ashley sat in the library, her nose in a thick book about a group of teenagers who visit a mountain and something suspenseful happens. She seemed interested in that kind of stuff. It suited her personnel for reading specifically. She never really was that negative minded person. Just a books like that kept her on the edge of her seat.

It was her Freshmen year of High School and she was new. It was only her third day back and she feels like she belongs there. She met a blonde haired girl named Jess. She was introducing her to her group of friends later on that day after school.. Some that were sophomores. Even a junior.

But there was something about that day that topped every other. She met her soulmate. Her other half. That cute blonde haired nerd that always made her smile. She had a soft spot for him further on in her life. But it all started that day.

Her friend Jess entered the library sitting at her table, taking a seat in one of four chairs, grabbing the book she read, and pulling it away from her face. The bells ring filled their ears.

"Hey, Ash." She smiled, her blue eyes shining brightly from the light reflected.

"Hey, Jess." She returned the smile, placing a bookmark inside the book, and closing it, placing it down on the table.

"You ready to meet my friends?" She asked, a devious smile plastered across her face. But for what reason? It made Ash curious.

"Yeah. Born ready." Ashley stood up from chair, pushing it closer to the wooden table. Jess followed suit, standing up, and dragging Ashley out of the room to the outside part of the school. It was central. It had a water fountain and a bunch of plants as a decoration or curb appeal as it is called.

There stood a tall boy with brownish black hair. He wore a black hoodie with denim jeans, with black sneakers. Seemed like the cool guy on campus. The Class Prez.

Then there was a blonde haired girl, medium sized. She wore black knee height leggings and a grey sweatshirt, with grey sneakers. She smiled brightly, and seemed so approachable and kind.

But there was one boy that caught her attention the moment she laid her eyes on him. He had blonde hair pointed in the front. He wore black glasses, a lighter button up denim shirt, with black jeans, and sneakers the same color. He had a smile that made her day.

He stared directly at her, their eyes meeting for a moment until Ashley looked away clearing her throat. She had a tingling feeling he still kept his eyes on her. Damn that guy was cute to her. His blue eyes so bright and beautiful.

"These are my friends." Jess pointed to the large group of people. "Meet Mike, Emily, Sam, Josh, Chris, Hannah, Beth,
and Matt."

She waved to the line of people as they gave her a warm and welcoming smile. She felt as if this was the group of friends she would last a lifetime with. It was just filling her mind the erotic possibilities that could happen with this group of people.

"This is Ashley." Jess introduced. The group repeated her name before the girl with the blonde hair in a messy bun approached her.

"Hi, I'm Sam!" She said, her voice bringing a smile to Ashley's face.

"Hi Sam!" Ashley chirped, feeling more comfortable and relaxed once more.

"Welcome to the group." She remained smiling widely introducing the group of people go her.

"Thank you." Ashley looked to the group and back to Sam.

"Well I've gotten run. But, I hope to catch up with you soon. Bye!" Sam ran from her side off home. She seemed to be the athletic type especially because of her taste in clothing. She ran swiftly away until no longer in sight.

Ashley begun walking back over to the group to rejoin the rest of her new friends. As she did, she tripped over a large rock on the ground. Her books flew out of her grip as she felt herself beginning to tip. But she didn't. She felt a hand grasp onto hers as she was pulled up to face the boy she couldn't help herself but to stare at.

"Hey. Careful." He pulled her to her feet, releasing her hand from his. Her face heating up as it became a tint of scarlet as she found herself speechless.

"Ashley, right?" He asked.

Ashley nodded her head, her reddish brownish locks bouncing slightly.. "Yeah. That's me. The girl who can't keep her balance."

"Whatever. But anyway. I'm Chris." He laughed, causing her to do the same.

She registered the name in her head sending him a warm smile of pure happiness. "Nice to meet you."

So this is a short one but its for a reason. I wanted just to write how both Chris and Ashley met. Hope you enjoyed.
