The sudden noise that filled your ears woke you up from your nap with alarmed eyes. You sat up swiftly, allowing your gaze to travel over to the window where the sounds were coming from. Feeling curious, you got off your bed and began walking over to it.

But just before you reached it, something round hit the glass of the window, taking you back in a combination of both shock and surprise. You recovered quickly though, and squinted your eyes to examine the small leftovers of the object that made the hard impact on your window that remained on the glass. Your feet moved closer and your vision of the remaining became clearer; that's when you made the realization that they were actually snow... Someone was throwing snowballs at your window...?

You placed your hands on the upturned-metal that was built at the bottom of the window, and pushed it up, letting the cool night breeze hit your face. Your eyes then quickly looked down, searching for whoever's responsible for the snowballs, expecting a few kids playing around on the pavement outside your yard... but to your surprise, you saw a head of brown hair bending forward, probably grabbing for more snow from the ground.

"Hiccup...?" you spoke aloud, your voice wasn't loud, but it wasn't exactly quiet either. You peeked out the window, and he'd probably heard you because just moments after you said his name, the boy looked up to meet your wondering gaze.

"Finally!" you heard him shouted and you almost cringed at the high volume of his voice; you glanced up at the wall clock to see that it was half past eleven, and people were getting ready for bed at this time, some already asleep perhaps.

You then turned your attention back to the boy who stood out on the pavement, his hands rested on front fence as his gaze never left you. "What are you doing?" you asked, pushing yourself slightly out the window as you did so, but then you remembered that you had a date with him... which you might have slept through... Oh, boy...

"Wait! I'm coming down!" you stuck your head out once again before pulling back inside and shutting the window. You grabbed your coat and scarf from the rack beside your door and headed down the stairs.

You've managed to silently go passed your parents' bedroom, but you knew that only your mom was in since your dad had to work overtime tonight, and he probably wouldn't be home until after midnight. Your fingers were soon on the vaguely-cooled-doorknob, they began turning and unlocking the door. And soon enough, it creaked opened and you quickly made it outside.

"What are you doing throwing snowballs at my window?" you called out to the brunet boy who continued to stand by the fence, a grin now plastered across his face as he sees you walking towards him.

"Well, how do you expect me to find pebbles at this kind of weather where the snow is almost covering up the whole town?" Hiccup grinned, and you couldn't help but do the same. "And what happened to you? I thought we'd agreed to meet up today?" he asked when you got to him.

"Yes, but..." you trailed off as you drew in a deep breath, then proceeded. "We didn't agree to what time and where..."

"So you decided to sleep instead?" he added for you with an amused expression.

"Hey," you protested. "I had a rough day... And it was a nap."

"Ah... I see..." Hiccup nodded as he rubbed his chin as if he were studying some science experiment, making you roll your eyes. He then chuckled and gave you a warm smile. "So, now that you're well-rested,"

You huffed, playfully rolled your eyes again, and causing another chuckle to escape him.

"Are you ready to go?" the boy finished. You raised an eyebrow at him. "Go?" you asked, puzzled. "Go where?"
