Morning has arrived, and you've just woken up from your sleep. Your eyes blinked a few times, allowing them to adjust to the change of light of your surroundings, before they scanned once around room... It seemed messy as it did as yesterday night, but... Hiccup was missing.

He's probably outside getting some breakfast or something, you told yourself as you laid your head back down on the comfy mattress. You took in a deep breath and Hiccup's intoxicating scent filled your nostrils. It smelled woodsy with a tinge of fresh mints.

Before you know it, you'd reached for his pillow and hugged it closely to your chest, a smile growing on your face as his familiar, sweet scent was all your senses could detect. Just the single thought of him, caused memories from the night before to come flowing back in a series of precious snapshots.

The way he spun you around and pulled you into his arms... the emotion that he'd poured into the heated kisses with you, your fingers traced your lips and you smiled, you could still feel the touch of his soft lips lingering on yours. Last night was just so... you couldn't describe it, there are absolutely no words for the amount of sensation, emotion and euphoria that you'd experienced. The only thing that you were positive about at the moment, is that you would want to do that all over again.

What happened last night was probably the most intimate moment that you'd ever had with Hiccup, the two of you had kissed before, but there were mostly quick and playful ones that include jokes and short walks. And yesterday... yesterday was different, so much different.

You could've sworn that it had all been a dream, a beautiful dream... It was too perfect, all the words that left his lips, they were all too perfect, it couldn't possibly have been real... But one look around Hiccup's room, you knew that it was certain that you hadn't imagined any of it.

Suddenly, there were knocks on the door, and you were about to ask who it was but before you could do so, the knocks became louder, more aggressive. You were startled, alarmed as you stood up from the bed and slowly, cautiously walked over to the door, but remembered to grab a worthy-of-defense object on your way.

Only three more steps till the door, three more. Your palms began sweating and you raised the firewood, the worthy-of-defense object, ready to swing as one of your hands reached for the handle. But in less than a split second, the door flew open from the outside, causing you to jump back and carelessly dropped the firewood.

"(Y/N)!" a voice that you recognized called out from across you and you jerked your head up to meet Jack's gaze. "God, I've been looking for you everywhere!"

"Jack, wha-what happened? Is something wrong?" you asked, panic starting to overcome you.

"Marcus and his army," he sucked in a quick breath of air, "They're coming."
