You smiled as the cool breeze hit your face; you face was rested on Hiccup's back as the two of you rode Toothless high up in the sky. Your eyes gazed down at the beautiful scenery of the white, puffy clouds and the city below.
"You enjoying yourself?" you heard Hiccup asked, making you lift your head up slightly to look at him. You nodded, even though he couldn't see. "Yea."
"Good," you could feel him smiling. "Cause we're gonna take things up a notch."
"Wait, what does that-" you tried to ask but the sudden rough turns of Toothless caused you the lost of your words.
The dragon's speed quickened and its movements became more forceful. "Hold on!" Hiccup called out to you and you didn't hesitate to do so. In a matter of seconds, Toothless did a twirl in the cloudy but blue sky. You let out a shriek at the unexpected actions, gripping Hiccup tighter than ever, which made him chuckle in the middle of the twirl.
Your cheeks blushed when Toothless returned to his earlier state, flying normally, and not upside down. "Have you ever rode a roller coaster?" you asked Hiccup as the dragon's air tricks reminded you of the mechanical contraption.
"No." Hiccup answered back. "Well, you're not missing out on much," you said. "In fact, this is even more dangerous that a roller coaster!"
"Really?" the brunet sitting in front of you mumbled.
"Yea," you grinned. "But it is a lot more fun."
This time, Hiccup actually turned around to glance at you, a smirk plastered on his face and you couldn't help but blush at his expression. "I knew you'd say that."

The both of you were laughing as Toothless landed back on the ground, resting his wings by his sides and allowed the two of you of a better way to get down. Hiccup was the one who jumped off first, he did it almost effortless, as if he'd done this a billion times before... and maybe he has...
When he was down, he turned to look up at you and reached out his hand. You, smiled and placed yours in his, letting him pull you down carefully. Your feet was soon back on the ground and you felt a rush of relief flood through you, though you don't really know why, you didn't actually hate flying.
"That was..." you sucked in a deep breath with a content smile on your face. "Kinda fun..."
But Hiccup wasn't paying attention to you as you saw him carry a wooden crate which he'd probably got from Stormo's because the name was stamped on it. The brunet walked towards his dragon, placed the crate gently on Toothless' back then secure it with a rough rope.
"What are you doing?" you asked, your eyes following him as he moved.
"Home," Hiccup replied and dusted himself off when he'd finished moving the crate. "I promised you one last date before I leave and... this was it!" you could hear the sadness that he tries to hide in his voice.
"Right now?" you asked, your smile faded and was now replaced with a frown.
Hiccup sighed. "Sadly, yes..."
"Oh..." you mumbled, looking down.
"Hey," you then heard the boy say and you felt his hand under your chin, lifting your face up to meet his soft and gentle gaze, you heart nearly melted at the sight of his glistening green orbs. "You can always come visit Berk, and maybe I'll purposely throw out all the equipments at the shop so I get to come back here again."
You cracked a weak smile at his words. His hand left your chin and had fallen onto your shoulder, slowly making its way down your arm, caressing gently as though you're as fragile as glass and would break even he put too much pressure.
"I'll miss you." He whispered to you and it's only when you felt the heat of his breath hit your lips did you realize that your faces were only a few inches apart. You opened your mouth to reply to him but was interrupted when his hand abruptly wrapped around your waist and pulling you close to him, his lips were on yours before you could even blink.
Your eyes widened as you'd been caught completely off guard and you also noticed from the corner of your eye an awkward Toothless using one of his wings to cover his big eyes. You then forgot about the on-looking dragon and leaned into the kiss, your lips matching his sync perfectly.
It felt like minutes before the two of you had finally pulled away, breathless. Wide, idiotic grins plastered on both of your faces as you stared at each other. "Me too..." you breathed as a response to Hiccup's earlier words.
Hiccup nodded and let go of you, which you secretly hoped that he hadn't. You watched on as the brunet got back onto his dragon and gave him a pat on his head. "C'mon, Toothless, it's over, it's safe to look now."
Toothless removed his wing vaguely, only one of his eyes able to peek through as though he didn't really believe Hiccup. The brunet rolled his eyes at his dragon, making you chuckle and Toothless fully allowed his wing to fall.
Hiccup gave you one last wave before Toothless soared into the cloudy sky, you waved back at him, raising your hand as high as you possibly could so he could see from the increasing distance.
And in a few seconds, that was it! Hiccup was out of sight, along with Toothless. Your smile then flattened and you turned on your heels beginning to walk back home, but you couldn't resist sneaking quick glances back to see if the Viking might have changed his mind and decided to stay with you... But he didn't.
