You stared after Jack as he flew up into the dark night sky without saying another word. Your eyes lingered on him until his figure darkened and was soon completely out of view. You casted your head down, shut your eyes and sighed.
What is going on with him? He's been acting really weird and well, kinda awkward these few days... Which is odd cause, Jack's never awkward.
You don't even think the word exists in his vocabulary. And... what was he going say...? What does he mean by feeling different around me?
You let out another sigh and lifted your head up, reopening your eyes to see the night sky once again.
Guess you'll just have to ask him when he gets back...
In the meantime, you decided to go back into your room. It's getting really late and you should probably get dressed for bed... even though you've almost slept through your date with Hiccup. You shut the doors behind you and pulled down the curtains, then turning around and headed to the bathroom.

"I seriously still can't believe that you actually did that!" you exclaimed in between short laughs as you and Jack walked up the steps to your front porch.
"Well, that guy definitely deserves it for being an incredibly great jerk." Jack stated, couldn't help but smirking at his own words.
He'd called a guy out on your guys' date tonight because he ever-so-rudely hit on you, and Jack was not pleased.
"But you didn't have to threaten him!" you protested, but you were grinning the whole time.
Jack gave you a cool shrug and a crooked smirk. "I wasn't threatening him, I just told him to get lost or else I'll beat him to the ground if he doesn't in a very loud manner."
"Yea, right." You playfully rolled your eyes at him which made him chuckle his adorable chuckle, his deep voice ringing in your ears like Christmas bells. You smiled and added, "But it was sweet of you that you did that."
Jack glanced over at you, his warm brown eyes staring at you and you felt your heart skip a beat at the sight. Your cheeks flushed vaguely and you looked down at your moving feet. "And it was a really nice date."
"Really?" he asked, you could hear the surprise in his voice, and there was also something else... happiness or excitement maybe...? Excited that he might have another chance at taking you out again?
"Yea," you nodded your head, finally lifting your head up again to gaze at him. "Except the part where you didn't blow on your soup, burnt your tongue and spit it out on the waiter." You said, laughing slightly.
"Hey!" Jack argued jokingly. "It wasn't my fault that he was standing next to me while I was eating my soup, and he really should've given me a warning..." he muttered, pretending to be angry at the waiter for not informing about the hotness of the soup.
You laughed at his expression and he grinned at you. "And my tongue's still burnt!"
"Well," you said to him as the two of you had reached the front door to your house. "That really sucks and I'm sorry for that."
Jack's grin softened and his arms placed on both sides of you, trapping you and causing you to back up until you felt your back hit the wall of the door. Your eyes darted up to meet his brown ones, his shaggy brown hair covering them vaguely, and you felt your breath hitched.
"If you're willing to help," he began, his voice quieter now but still carried the same smoothness as it did before. "I've got an idea how you can make me feel better."
You could feel his hot breath hit your lips and you suddenly find it hard to swallow. Without thinking, you gave him a light nod and smile; he returned it gratefully and starting leaning in, closer and closer, and then-
You woke up from your dream with a loud gasp for air, as if all of it had been drained from your lungs all of a sudden, and you needed an enormous intake of it as fast as possible. You inhaled deeply, then exhaled.
Once your breathing had calmed down, your eyes darted around the room as you sat up on your bed. Everything seems to be in order, nothing odd or misplaced. You then returned to your earlier position, lying on the bed and you shut your eyes as you ran a hand through your hair.
You just had a dream about Jack... and he was human... and you were back in your old home in America... and... you were together...
