You reached your doorstep, fingers still entwined with Jack's cool ones. You turned, looking at the winter spirit. "Thank you, Jack." You whispered.
"For what?" He raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled. You rolled your eyes. "You've always been there for me and I- I really appreciate it." You said sheepishly. Jack chuckled. "I love it when you get nervous."
"Oh really?" You smiled, all nervousness gone. You stood on your toes, pecking the boy on the cheek. He looked surprised, like he hadn't been expecting that. You felt a sense of triumph as you turned, opening the door.
"Do you want to come in?" You asked as you walked in, taking off your shoes and placing them by the door.
"Thought you'd never ask." Jack murmured, stepping inside.
"That hurts my feelings." You joked. Jack chuckled. You walked into the kitchen. Jack followed you, jumping onto the bench and watched you curiously as you grabbed two apples. You glanced at him and noticed he was swinging his legs, eyes fixed on you. "Do you want one?" You asked.
You didn't wait for his answer, chucking the apple at him.
"Sure." Jack caught the apple. You sighed, rolling your eyes.
"Where are your parents?" Jack asked, looking around.
"Probably in bed." You shrugged, "It's nearly twelve."
"Right..." Jack said. He jumped off the bed and moved towards you. He raised his hand, moving a piece of strand hair away from your face. "And are you tired?" he looked so cute with his eyes fixed on you and his white hair in his face.
"Yes." You lied. He looked at the ground, dropping his hand. "But I want you to come upstairs with me." You smirked as he looked up, features visibly brightening. You gripped your apple tightly and moved to your room. You walked in, flicking on the fairy lights you'd put in your room a while ago. Your room lit up in a mix of colours. You smiled, a warm feeling in your stomach as you walked over to your bed. You sat on it, watching as Jack did the same. You turned to face him, biting into your apple and chewing awkwardly. "So..." You said. Jack stayed quiet but you could tell he was curious. "Umm... what did that kiss mean to you?" You bit your lip.
"Which one?" Jack winked at you, chuckling slightly. You smiled at him, heart melting at his laugh. You remembered the kiss and you blushed slightly, your appetite gone. You put the apple beside you, thinking deeply.
"You're blushing." Jack murmured. He reached up, hand caressing your cheek.
"You didn't answer my question." You whispered. Jack smiled, moving closer to you. He leaned forward, pressing his lips against yours. Your hands immediately wrapped around his neck and started playing with his hair. His rested on your hips, drawing you onto his lap and them wrapping around your waist tightly. You felt butterflies in your stomach and again you felt the feeling of your heart melting. You felt so happy, like nothing or no one in the world could make you feel happier. His lips were cool and reminded you of how much you needed him to be there with you. You were reminded of everything about him. You thought about how kind he was too you and his ability to always make you laugh. Your body felt like jelly and you had to admit, you loved it. You smiled against his lips and Jack pulled away, resting his forehead against yours.
"Every time we kiss," he whispered, "I feel whatever you just felt but a thousand times better."
"How do you know what I felt was good?" You asked cheekily. You were still in his lap. You leant against him, closing your eyes.
"I-"
"I'm just teasing you." You grinned, eyes still closed. Jack smiled.
"Jack... what was the thing you were going to tell me?" You asked, looking up at the winter spirit.
Jack rolled his eyes. "I dare you to guess." He murmured.
"But I want to hear you say it." You whispered. Jack looked at you curiously. "Well then..." he leant forward, kissing your cheek "(Y/N), I really like you."
You smiled. "I like you too, Frosty." His eyes lightened, like he was over the moon that you had said those words.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" You asked suddenly.
"It isn't a sappy romance is it?" Jack asked. You laughed. "No... You can pick it."
"Great!" Jack leapt up, moving to pick up your computer. He brought it onto your bed, flicking through your movies. You crawled under your covers.
"I pick Fast and Furious five!" He said loudly. You grunted, rolling your eyes. "Fine, come here then." And he did, moving under the covers. He was so close to you and it gave you butterflies. The movie started and you watched it for a while. Soon you found yourself getting tired. You closed your eyes, leaning your head against Jack's shoulder. You heard the movie stop playing and the weight of the computer was gone. Jack shifted, arms going around you and pulling you against him. You heard his sigh as his lips kissed your head. You smiled. 'Goodnight Jack.' You whispered.
"Goodnight Snowflake." He whispered. You closed your eyes, falling into an endless oblivion. You couldn't have been happier.
